Welcome to Oka-Chan House!
The two-story house is furnished in modern Japanese style - it is a place of peace and tranquility, and can accommodate up to 7 people.
Located 30 seconds walk from JR Keihin-Tohoku Line Kaminakazato station, Oka-Chan house is also convenient for transportation.
- 6 mins to Nippori station
- 11mins to Akihabara station
- 14mins to Tokyo station.

Oka Chan House Kita-ku

The location is right next to a train station which was perfect for us to get around. Language barrier was a little tough because we spoke no Japanese but with google translate it was super helpful.

Best location for a Tokyo base to explore

This unique, modern property is ideally located next to a rail station, with an excellent supermarket across the road, a 711 nearby, and several small eateries and bars in the block. Our host was cheery and helpful. We spent several days investigating Tokyo, and couldn't have chosen a better place to base ourselves.

Very cool house - interesting place to stay

Just a few steps from Kami-Nakazata JR Station, this house is spacious and comfortable. Yoshinaga is a very helpful host.

Unique space with very accessible local transit!

The property is very unique and quirky with beautiful architecture. By far the most interesting property I have stayed in. The residence seems to be converted from a restaurant making the functionality of it a little interesting to stay in, but for the price point and uniqueness it is worth it! The property is right off a local JR train station making it super easy to get to most parts of Tokyo. The host was very helpful with whatever questions we had. Once again, great and unique stay for the price point!

Interesting Place

This is a very interesting place. It is a converted restaurant so it is not a traditional home. It is conveniently located next to a train station and a short walk to 7-11 and a laundromat. The futons are upstairs in a loft and there is a shower and bathroom but the sink is the kitchen sink. There is a long bar with a microwave and fridge. Not much room for luggage.

Location location location.

We litterly walked out of tge house turned left walked up the steps and were at kai nakazato station. This was fatastic. If youwalkover the bridgeyou were at a 711 and if we walked oacross the street we had a grocery store.

Creative Space Indeed!

This location is right next to the train station, but very quiet because it is constructed out of concrete, like an industrial look. It’s also across from a small grocery store and near a 24 hour 7-11 store. You really can’t ask for more upon arrival in Tokyo! All the bedrooms are loft style, on the second floor but open to the rest of the apartment. The kitchen had everything you’d probably need for a short stay, but the floor was a little uneven and getting in and out of the kitchen through a narrow staircase with a swing door was not ideal. The air conditioning, shower, and toilet worked excellent. Overall, it was a good deal.

Gorgeous unique home

This property is beautiful, and very conveniently located. It is very close to a train station, and has a nice market just down the street. The host is very kind, and made sure our stay was pleasant, telling us about the area, and answering our questions as they came up. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Unique place

This place is one of a kind. If you are looking for a different place this is it. It is right at the JK line station, so the walk out and more importantly, the evening walk back to bed were very short. Be aware however of a few things. The three rooms are one loft open space with curtains, not actual rooms. Don't expect to find lounging space other than the beds. The washer/dryer is actually a washer with an air dry spin cycle, clothes still need to be hung up to actually dry. The biggest problem is the continuous sewer smell throughout. I was able to find the floor drain and fill it with water to temporarily block out the entry of sewer gas. I attempted to discuss this issue with the host but our language barrier hindered the conversation. The host was very welcoming and pleasant.

The trade begun from 29 years old was also filled this year, and 35th anniversary was met. I think YOKUZO continued even I. Without getting tired, TEKI, sea urchin and the good degree would be good.
It was the grilled chicken line, but "change in clothes" and "staying at a private house" were added from this year.
A grilled chicken was done by "theater" originally, and Japanese hotchpotch will be done by "box", and a mixed stew was made with "peak shed", "Oka, alley", I came, but there are also circumstances in the world.

An office worker life is also experienced for 8 years, after that, Europe, I'm unsteady for 3 years.
The store I have begun to go back in Japan at 29 years old.
I went to very various places while traveling.
I was staying at the an hotel which is always near the market.
The internet spread now and I came to stay in an inn on the concerned street easily. It was the convenient time. I didn't also think one did staying at a private house using experience of the travel from which they came so far.
I think "Let's enjoy ourselves together." in order to think of traveler's heart and travel happily now that it's done.
A life is limited.
The person himself should decide how happily to live comfortably interestingly. The one ideal for uplift of intention is travel.
Extraordinariness produces fun travel.
Bonn and BOYAJU are fun travel.
