Very much enjoyed you and your family staying at Hannah's Place, only 30 yards away from beach access at our wonderful Emerald Isle Beach. Please return!
Great location, close proximity to many local restaurants and grocery stores etc. All the basic essentials you need in a beach small beach getaway. Had no issues while we were staying there but it was easy to contact the property owner if needed.

Perfect location near the beach. Quiet neighborhood and very clean. The house was very clean the only thing I would say is the kitchen and bathroom need a little update but otherwise it was perfect. Property manager was very informative and quick to respond. I would definitely go back!
"Hannah's Place" is safe, convenient, and close to the beach! The terrific communication leading up to the stay and during checkout was greatly appreciated.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay and happy we could bring our fur baby with us. The host was great communicating the process. Loved the location close to the beach. Great for a weekend trip

Need severe appliances and bedding's update
"Hanna's Place" is apparently the oldest house in the neighborhood. With brick foundation, once you walk in the smell of Glade plug-ins ( in every receptacles) hits you in the face. So if you have allergies or breathing problems, be aware. We packed up food since we like to cook at home and I chose this place because it advertised a kitchen not knowing the stove and oven are from the 1950s. Couple of the knobs appeared to be melted from the heat and were not replaced. The heating elements do not sit correctly on the stove. I was not able to adjust the heat at all to cook my food. The Teflon pots n pans were all scratched up. Then it was the matter of the sleeping quarters. The mattress was so squeaky that every time I turned at night it would wake me up so for three nights I had a very restless sleep. The best part of my trip was not being in the house. I'll probably would've had a better time camping. The property manager who was very polite. But when I call them and told them that this place could use a good renovation as much as they charge each guest he was not very responsive. The location is very convenient to the beach. And if you are OK with squeaky bed and eat at the restaurant every night and have breakfast out every day then you are welcome. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews prior to booking this place. Apparently there were many reviews having the same issue from 2025 and they did not upgrade anything in this house.

From the owner: "False. You sought a discount after staying the entire vacation at the property, but we would not give it to you. You complained about the wagon because it wasn't your favorite color, red. There are no bad smells in the property, and your breathing issues are false. Then you falsely alleged that the box springs were loud when the bed is new and quiet. Then you complained about the vintage kitchen and that you couldn't cook your meals, despite that, you ordered takeout, and the oven works fine. We look forward to vacationers who want to stay 30 yards away from beach access at Hannah's Place, so close to our beautiful Emerald Isle Beach."
Overall Hanna’s place suited our needs for a few days but would highly suggest replacing the electrical outlets thru out the place but for being just minutes from the ocean it was well worth it
The house was conveniently located for beach access..also close to stores, restaurants, and groceries.worked very well for a short stay. The kitchen was a bit scant ,so glad we didn't plan on cooking.otherwise we enjoyed our time together and the beach getaway.
This is definitely a no frills place, but the perfect location. Close to all restaurants and literally across the street from the beach!
I would just say that don't be prepared to do a lot of cooking while staying here. The stove is not great, but sandwiches and snacks would definitely be a safe bet.

It wasn’t horrible
Overall it was an ok stay. The bed was not comfortable at all. There were only 3 towels and rags for two people on a 5 night stay. I know there is a washer and dryer in unit but I don’t want to wash every day just to have towels and rags. Also the dryer has to be ran several times to get anything dry. It was a great location to the beach and the back yard was nice.
Mold mold mold! This apartment honestly should be condemned. There is so much mold in this apartment. It is a major health hazard. And the windows don’t even open. This place felt kind of like a dungeon. Extremely old appliances, stove barely works. The smell is disgusting. Stay away unless you wanna end up in the hospital from inhaling mold spores!

From the owner: "This is a false report. We take photographs before every guest moves in, and the photographs show no mold and a wonderfully clean apartment. Guest continued to stay at Hannah's Place, because we provide a beach wagon, beach chairs, and an umbrella, and they even requested a late check-out. We look forward to vacationers enjoying our beautiful Emerald Isle Beach, which is only 30 yards away from Hannah's Place."
If you want a small place, close to the beach, and with few frills, this is the place. It provides a convenient place to stay that is affordable. Do not expect to be able to cook full meals as the kitchen is not equipped. You also may want to bring your own bath towels.
Nice place close to everything in Emerald Isle. Just across the street from beach access, short walk to the best coffee, breakfast and lunch places. The only negative point is that this downstairs unit has a thin ceiling, and if there are kids running around upstairs all day, you're going to hear them. Tip: If that happens, just leave and go to the beach.

Worst Vacation Rental
Hannah's Place is the worst vacation rental that we have stayed. The house stinks, kitchen appliances are rusted and worst of all the bathrooms are filthy. The toilet seat is not even bolted it shake when you sit down..The bathroom is tiny you don't have a place to put your shampoo and soap.

Disliked: Location
Old outdated no yard table/chairs construction zone
Old outdated furnishings. Kitchen dreadful stove not functional. Would have been dark dismal except for front windows but construction vehicles and people and noise were right outside those windows our whole stay.
