Hi Everyone! Welcome to our Beach House located in the heart of Emerald Isle, walking distance to restaurants, piers, entertainment and the beach! Whether you are ready to hit the town or grab some amazing seafood and cook at home, Emerald Isle had tons to offer! We renovated the bathrooms, master bedroom as of April 2022, all mattresses and furniture in 2022 and just put in a fully new central AC system as of April 2023 and a brand new kitchen 2024!

This is a nice property in an excellent location. Very quiet neighborhood with convenient access to the beach via a private parking lot. The kitchen is well-equipped and you are minutes from the grocery stores. Thanks for a great stay!

This was our third stay at this property. Hosts are very friendly, and you can tell they really care about their guests. The house has everything you need for a great week at the beach!! We appreciate the extras that you usually don’t find in a rental home. Quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, food, and shopping, and several ice cream options! We’ll be looking to book again next Summer!

2/5 StarsOur family of 3 stayed here from 6/18–21/26. The positives are the location, nearby restaurants, private beach access with parking and a beach shower station, and the helpful information provided by the host.Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by the number of cockroaches/waterbugs throughout the home. We understand that seeing an occasional bug at the beach is not unusual, but what we experienced went well beyond that. Each night when lights were turned on, we would see multiple bugs, particularly in the kitchen. We found them around appliances, near vents, in the bathrooms, and even in the linen closet. We also observed bugs of various sizes, from very small to large adults.The issue made it difficult for our family to relax and enjoy our vacation, and we were uncomfortable throughout much of our stay. We shared photos and details with the owner, who responded promptly and offered to have the property treated during our stay, though we did not take them up on this offer for fear it could make things worse. After reviewing the photos and feedback following our stay, the owner also indicated they would pursue a more aggressive treatment approach.While the location was great, the pest issue was significant enough that we would not stay here again. We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and have never experienced anything comparable. This review is an honest account of our experience so future guests can make an informed decision.

We take great pride in our beach house and took your email seriously and immediately took action after your stay. We hired a pest control agent to take a look. He inspected inside and outside and noticed no infestations. He sprayed interior openings and the outside perimeter. While it is common to see a palmetto bug on the island the representative suspected the recent storms brought them in through cracks or leaving doors open seeking dry areas. We clean regularly and have quarterly visits from pest control. I don't expect this to be an issue moving forward.

Perfect for our family!

This was our second year staying in this rental. We love it! The house has everything we need and then some for a great week at the beach. It’s spacious, clean, and just lovely. The owners are super friendly and I appreciate their courteous communication. We plan to book a third visit next summer!

We really loved the house- simple and cozy. It had everything we could need and then some. (Paper products, extra towels, beach accessories, indoor and outdoor games, detergents, and more). Stayed at this property for labor day weekend. Great location, house comes with a parking area near the beach that we used with ease. We're a family of 5 and we fit comfortably. The hosts provide beach gear that came in handy for our weekend. Definitely recommend.

Quaint and Quiet

Property location was close to everything you may need, can access either on foot or short car rides. II was equipped with everything I needed for a quick weekend getaway with a surprise addition of a home gym which we utilized early mornings. The manager was friendly and easily accessible for quick questions.

Great Location and Hosts

Melissa was amazing with responding to any questions I had. The house was in a great location for beaches and restaurants. The bathrooms are newly renovated and quite nice. Almost everything I needed to cook and clean, etc. was readily available in abundance. Having a barbecue/grill was important and the one on the back deck was very nice. These are good people working hard to provide a rental that works for families and beach community-lovers, in general.

Peace and quiet bungaloo

The small home was comfortable, but is partially un-remodeled. Kitchen had some new appliances, but we found food in the fridge from previous guests, and no ice maker. Little plastic trays...So 60's. Owner communicated well. Basic supplies such as garbage bags for kitchen were not supplied. Garage had broken gym equipment. Several safety issues were reported to owner, and hopefully will be corrected by now. Location is great for access to Emerald Isle beaches, and other attractions. Overall, if the property remodel is completed, this will be a great house at the lower end of the rental spectrum.

Hi James, I am sorry to hear of your concerns. We do have a surplus of garbage bags both under this sink as we discussed as well as in the garage if extra are needed. We keep a hefty supply of all essentials from laundry detergent to toilet paper in the house and overflow in the garage. We also keep essentials in the fridge like ketchup and condiments to be helpful. In addition, you are correct, we are consistently making upgrades to our property but we hope in the interim the pictures are indicative of the space. The one "safety issue" brought to our attention has been upgraded. Again, we are always sorry for any disappointment in your stay and hope you will give us a shot in the future.

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and our hosts were wonderful, providing everything we needed to have a fantastic vacation. The use of the parking spot and all the beach amenities made our beach days super easy and fun. We really appreciated the use of a bicycle, so that our whole family could go on biking adventures and enjoy the beautiful area.The house was a comfy, well-appointed haven to return to each evening to refresh and rest. This VRBO was a wonderful first time beach experience for our family! Very clean and was as advertised! It was within close distance to the ocean/beach and several shops and restaurants. George and Melissa were very responsive to any communications and helped to ensure we were comfortable. There was a binder available with places to check out which was cool for us as first time visitors. Would highly recommend!

This was our third time staying here. We love it! The house is cozy and simple with everything we need. The gym in the garage is a nice amenity! The location is close to plenty of shops and restaurants and our favorite ice cream places! Having access to private parking for the beach is awesome! The hosts are attentive and very friendly. Great soundside house for family of 4

We loved staying here! The house was clean and cozy and was close to everything. There is a soundside pier just around the corner where we watched the sunset each night. Just a great house and location to explore the island and grill out on the back porch. Will book again for sure.

Peaceful, convenient and accommodating

This was a perfect spot for our family of 4 with just enough space, privacy and convenient to the pier, beaches and the sound. Our kids used the garage gym just about daily. The design of the space was simple and easy to use. We walked to the local shops, beach and pier easily without worrying about parking. Easy drive to Beaufort, grocery store and the aquarium. Will look forward to visiting again!

We are a couple that fell in love with Emerald Isle ourselves an decided to buy a vacation home. A little fixing up and its now our favorite getaway that we are excited to share with you!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This property is located in a quiet suburb (lots of locals!) but as soon as you walk up the block you are on the bustling main street with tons of fun and restaurants. If you keep walking you will find yourself on the public beach though you could always take the 5 minute drive and park. This place is the best of both worlds, it has the quiet you want to relax or wind down with the kids but it also is full of activity!

Unique benefits include brand new bathrooms, a memory foam mattress in the master, Smart TVs throughout the house, plenty of storage room, a desk area for work, fully stocked brand new kitchen, brand new HVAC and a washer/dryer. The location is the biggest win from our perspective. We love being able to walk to most places and take our time.
