The bathroom toilet had feces in it when we arrived, all over the toilet and I had to clean it myself. I tried to contact the number on file and messaged the host. No return phone call or message. I called vrbo customer service the next morning and they contacted the host, he got on the phone with me then. I suggested I be compensated for cleaning the disgusting bathroom. The host did refund our money for one night, and I do appreciate that. The location was awesome, we had a nice stay otherwise.
Love the neighborhood. Several interesting bars, shops and restaruants. Convenient to other Cincinnati attractions. Unit was well equipped, but could use some more furniture and decorations. Good value.
Good value compared to hotels in the area. Went for a Bengals game. It was a bit of a longer walk than we would have liked but that was expected. The main thing I look for in a VRBO is the safety of the area and cleanliness and this property was very good in both of these.
We enjoyed our stay at the Canary Cottage. Aside from some general street noise at night, we loved the lively, artsy vibe from being right on Main Street. Plenty of restaurants and sights to see. The Vrbo had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

The property was exactly as described. Easy check in. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend!!
This home was just perfect for us. The fireplace and hardwood floors lent charm to this historic building. The neighborhood is walkable to downtown Covington and the area is full of character. We would definitely book again!
We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The location was perfect! We had a concert at PNC Pavilion on Friday night. We easily took an Uber to and from the concert. We enjoyed exploring all the shops and restaurants the area had! This unit is adorable and very spacious! The bed is huge, and so comfortable! We liked sitting in the front in the chairs people watching, lol. Super clean, has everything you need, can walk everywhere! We WILL book again!
Perfect location , close to everything on mainstrasse, very clean, communication and details of wifi and the cide for the door very easy to get will stay there again this makes the 2nd time i have stayed at the property absolutely love it

Parking was difficult, there was construction the whole time we were there, noisy neighbor upstairs all week, there were beer bottles and cans around the front door when we arrived, there was hair in the tub, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Would not recommend.
Spent a long weekend to attend the 3-game Cubs series. Location was perfect - about a mile from the stadium but in a non-urban feel neighborhood. Lots of unique shops and dining options in the immediate area. Noise from the street a little loud at times.
I stayed here because I was attending a conference in Cincinnati. I loved the location of this property. It is within walking distance of some very good restaurants/pubs. I enjoyed dinner at a different one each evening. The property was clean, and had everything I needed. If I had to have any cons then it would be the street traffic can be noisy at times through the night. I would definitely stay again if I needed to be in the area again.
It was nice and home-like. Comfortable and open. We enjoyed our stay. Modernized and cozy. Smelled a little musty but we bought an air freshener we left in the bedroom. I thought the shower head was way too hight for me to adjust but im short so i would have liked to see a removable shower head. Nice shops and taverns/bars right there that you can walk to, friendly nighborhood. Parking gets busy but as expected in an area like that
Location Location Location!! Awesome property directly on main-street. Arrived Saturday, had dinner and after able to park directly in front of unit. Within 5 minutes of front door easy walk to awesome restaurants (Mamas Italian and Chicken parmesan highly recommend!) numerous nighylife options.Back to the property…loved the high ceilings awesome shower huge bedroom w super comfy bed! Host communicated well w great arrival info prior to stay…digital lock worked beautifully! On and on could go but better yet, highly recommend for your next stay in Cincinnati area…in town for Riverbend concert over weekend and worked beautifully!!
The apartment is cute, getting in was easy, once in had everything we needed, clean for the most part (No top sheet on the bed, bottom sheet was on inside out, some stuff could have been wiped down better). The neighborhood was fun to explore but the parking was TERRIBLE. We have an f150 and it was sketchy at best getting around and finding parking. After exploring we got back both nights after 8pm and there was no parking anywhere near the apartment. Had to drive around forever and because it's a busy area parking far away seemed like a bad idea. The actual place is great though. Only major thing I would change is an extra chain lock/second lock on the door.
The property and location are very convenient and nice to stay at!
The property is nice, convenient to everything, and a reasonable price. The one bedroom is huge and comfy, bathroom is big, and it's definitely a nice place.
CONS: PROPERTY MANAGER LIVES ON SITE! There was a misunderstanding regarding a disturbance and my reservation was unexpectedly cancelled and I had to scramble to find a place to lay my head. The owner never spoke with me, he texted me the night before and said he got a noise complaint and asked them to keep it down, which we did.
The next day he texted us to vacate the premises at 7:30am and he never contacted me after that or spoke directly with me. I've never been evicted from an Air BNB and I've been using them since 2015 with NO complaints!
