Brandon and Sharon’s Place

Our home is located in the historic neighborhood, Old Seminary Square, in NKY . We are conveniently located app 20minutes from CVG Airport and Cincinnati ! We are conveniently located near Cincinnati Zoo, Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati Art Museum, and History Museum , and many other venues! We are within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The suite is the entire first floor, in our historic home! We do provide a large air mattress, if you have more than two guests. There is also a couch that guests are welcome to sleep on. We have one king size bed in the bedroom, with a door, for privacy.

Nice place, but since it’s attached to the hosts’ home there are a few disturbing quirks - you could hear the hosts loudly every time they walked. You could see through the floorboards in the living room to the unfinished basement below (the light was on down there the whole time). Also, we went around and tried to lock all the internal doors (including one in the closet) but the basement door didn’t seem to lock. It felt a bit weird - like someone could walk in whenever.We were also a bit worried that we were parked in the wrong place because of a sign that said “Cardinal Parking only”. We tried contacting the hosts a few times and never heard back - then that night someone pounded on the door - we weren’t sure if it was ours or theirs, but it was very alarming!One small hint - to switch the shower into shower mode, you have to pull down on the bottom of the bathtub faucet. I’d never seen this before, so it took us a long time to figure out. So, I don’t think I’d stay at this place again, unfortunately. I might have felt less uneasy if my husband was with me.

The rental was as described and very nice! Close to all we wanted to do in northern Ky and Cincinnati area! Would definitely recommend and hope to come back soon.

My son and I were in town for a Bengals game. The property is located in close proximate to Newport and Cincinnati attractions. The hosts were very responsive to questions. The property was as listed and exceeded our expectations with all of the little touches. It was so nice to have a parking! Brandon went the extra mile when I left and item behind. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay while moving our daughter into her dorm. Convenient to Cincinnati, Newport and other little towns. Easy access and driveway was a great perk. Place was very comfortable and had a homey feel to it. Would definitely stay here again.

A magical stay! Beautiful place with high ceilings, awesome decorations and all the amities to relax. It even has an enchanted garden with bunnies, but the topper was the best shower pressure and the comfortable bed. We loved our stay and will come again.

The rental itself was fine. It is nicely decorated and comfortable. My daughter and her husband stayed here after their wedding. It got strange though when they were sleeping and heard a noise. They saw a light coming out of the closet. There is a door in the closet leading who knows where. They never opened it, but it was opened from the inside into the closet. When I questioned the owner, he seemed to think it was ok because they needed some paper towels from the closet. He told me they could have locked it from the inside. Why wouldn't this have been locked in the first place, since you were renting it out? It was creepy and weird.

Comfy home

Beautiful decorative home with lovely outside area and garden. It is on a very busy street though so the noise is a bit distracting to the outside setting. Perfect location in Covington and only minutes away from restaurants, activities and Cincinnati just across the river. Would stay again!

Great Place!

A little oasis for a weekend away for a best friend's weekend. A charming place to stay close to Covington/Newport. The home was just as described, very clean and loved the decor. Spacious and comfortable open concept living room. The charming outside yard area with lots of fun garden items. Brandon was a wonderful host, and I plan to bring my husband to stay again if back in the area.

Oasis after a long week. Spacious, comfortable, had everything we needed including easy parking. Relaxed on living room furniture, tv was easy to use, and bed was perfect. Now that we have found it, we know where we want to stay in the future!

Perfect location, awesome yard

The property was well appointed. The yard was amazing with tons of flowers and fairy gardens. The location is very close to Covington downtown area with shops and restaurants. It was about 15 minutes to Riverbend which was excellent.

Amazing property!

What a perfect place for our weekend! Visiting with sharon and brandon made it even better. Very pleasant in every aspect. Perfectly clean and all our needs very easily met without asking! Brandon also had great eating recommendations, the historic area was lovely to walk around and enjoy! Will definitely plan to return when wedding gets closer

The pics do not do this place justice. It is very spacious. Clean. Well stocked with pretty much anything you'd need. Creative and quirky decor but in a charming way. King bed was comfy. Off street parking was great. Amazing location. Little bit of road noise as its right by a fairly major road but not really bothersome. Great courtyard with lots of rabbits that our 2 year old loved. Owners live above and were very nice, laid back, and communicative. They even cleaned the snow off my car the morning we left. We would definitely recommend!

Covington, redux

Returned to the city where I grew up. The home and neighborhood has improved immensely! Very nice apt, with everything we needed for 5 day visit with family and old friends. Very nice decor and art work. Don't miss the garden and check out the mural Sharon pained on the back side of the fence! Great to have off-street parking, laundry. Sharon and Brandon were close by, and respectful of our space. N.B. to use the shower, PULL DOWN on the ring around the faucet! Would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

Wonderful weekend getaway! The apartment is beautiful and clean. Easy walking to many areas of town. We walked from the apartment to the Roebling Bridge and was able to visit the riverfront on the Cincinnati side. Covington is a very cute town and we enjoyed the restaurants and views at the riverfront. Highly recommend this VRBO!
