Mammoth Estates is located in the heart of it all, walking distance to the Village at Mammoth, in a quaint and quiet forest mountain setting. This two-bedroom, two-bath property is an end unit with vaulted ceilings and a traditional wood-burning fireplace. This unit sleeps a maximum of 6 people, with a queen in the master and two twins in the guest room, and queen sofa sleeper in living room. This townhome is non-smoking and pets are not permitted. Short walk to the year round amenities Mammoth Estates has to offer such as the Game Room, Jacuzzi and Sauna. Take a plunge in the beautiful pool in hot summer months or just soak in the sun surrounded by beautiful landscape. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, Pilates and cycle studio and more. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Our calendar is updated in real time. Great Condo, Perfect Location

We had a great time during our stay. The location of the condo is perfect: a short walk to the village where you can take the Gondola to Canyon Lodge for skiing. Would definitely recommend for a family / group of 4 adults & 2 kids.

Weekend ski trip

Great location close to the gondola. The condo is very nice and clean. Bedrooms are a good size. Only suggestion
it’d be great if you didn’t have to go to the property management office to get the code and parking passes. It’d be nice to be able to leave the parking passes at the condo at check out instead of going back to the property management office. No reflection on the property, just a minor inconvenience :)

Great spot for our annual Mammoth trip

We really enjoyed our stay over a very snowy new years. The place was very clean and well stocked. We especially liked having abundant firewood on the balcony and the kitchen had just about everything you would need. While it may not be the most modern unit, everything worked well and our whole family was very comfortable. The complex did a great job with snow removal during some very big storms. The Internet could be a little spotty at times but we were mostly there to enjoy the mountain and recharge so we didn't mind. The Village, with the gondola to Canyon Lodge, was within walking distance and it was nice to have the hot tub in the complex (my wife also enjoyed the health club access, though it's a little over a mile away). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 6 days enjoying all that Mammoth has to offer in recreation and eating experiences. When we vacation in Mammoth, we always rent at Mammoth Estates. Due to Covid, this was our first time back in 3 years. The only downside would be no air conditioning. The week was in the high 80’s and no evening breezes. A floor fan was provided, but it wasn’t enough. Other units have ceiling fans in the upstairs which would have helped with the heat. The microwave is too high and a hazard when bringing hot food down after heating. Also the recreational area, new ping pong paddles would be helpful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this was a terrific experience. 5 Pros.1. Location was great. Easy proximity to the Village and the Gondola.2. Size. This a good-sized condo. I was a little worried that the photography might have made this space appear smaller. The living room / kitchen is quite expansive and the bedrooms are adequate without being too cramped. 3. The condo is very well-appointed with all of the things that you think you might need. Right down to coffee filters and snow shovels.4. We had four but with the fold-out couch, this can sleep 6 very easily.5. Check-in was seamless and easy although the directions to the exact condo location could be improved. A QR code to the map location might be an idea.... and the 1 Con. The heating system is effective but noisy. The in-wall heaters in the bedrooms were a beast to master and kept us awake all night. We ended up buying space heaters from Ace Hardware and then all was fine.

Amazing location, some issues

Location is incredible - about a 5 min walk from the village, so getting up the gondola to canyon lodge is fast and easy, not to mention excellent access to restaurants and everything else the village has to offer. That said, during our stay one of the two restrooms in the unit was leaking water pretty much the entire time, soaking the floor and making the restroom difficult to impossible to use. Communication with the company that manages the property was cumbersome and frustrating. The company forces you to download an app to retrieve your check in/check out instructions and other important information, which is fine but not ideal considering this booking was made on VRBO and it would be preferable to stick to one app. Not to mention that it wasn’t very clear in the email communications that the app is REQUIRED to retrieve your check in instructions. Also the app allows you to view messages sent to you from the company but does NOT allow you to send messages to them, so I was regularly sending messages about the leak through email or calling on the phone anyway. Finally, since we arrived around 11pm, the rental office had closed so we had to pick up our parking passes and the key code to the door from a drop box. Since we had to download an app anyway, it would have been preferable if the key code was in the app and the parking passes were in the unit. All in all it was a decent stay, but see above as to why we were left unimpressed.

Great location

We loved our short stay in Mammoth. Perfect walking distance to Gondola for skiing and for eating in the village. The kitchen was nice too and plenty of room for eating!
