This is a 1950's cottage with a traditional cabin feel, it has a new addition to the property and it's known as the Yellow Cottage on Sandy Lake. As you enter the property it is surrounded by large tall trees and the front views show a view like you've never seen before. The beautiful sandy lake.
If you want to escape, whether it be cozying up to the fireplace, having an outdoor fire, board games, reading and using the telescope it's all there for you.
In terms of activities, there are kayaks and water equipment available, a short drive to snowshoeing and cross country ski trails ... snowmobiling trails close by.
In case you are not big on cooking, there are restaurants within a 10 min drive, great pizza, breakfast and ice cream.
The Kawartha Winery is a perfect outing with wine tasting, outdoor pizza on weekend and some interesting trinkets.
The Burleigh falls is a pretty great place to visit warm or cool weather, it's best with a cold beer or hot chocolate.
