Tranquility Cove Retreat - the perfect destination to relax, refresh, renew

Our beautiful lake front property has been recently renovated and is ready for your visit!

Plan a family gathering, corporate retreat or group outing...just a short drive from the DFW Metroplex. This property offers a private boat ramp on a large quiet cove, perfect for water sports or just enjoying the beautiful view. The area attracts ducks, cranes & other wildlife, as well as good fishing.

There is a boat slip with cradle available that accommodates a 24-foot v-hull boat. There are tie-ups for pontoon boats or jet skis on the outside of the boat slip, as well as bumpers all around.

The main house has 5 bedrooms (3 with queen beds, one with a twin over double bunk bed, & one with 4 single bunk beds) and 2.5 bathrooms, all remodeled as of February 2021. The guest house has a twin over double bunk bed & a half bath.

The living room has a large screen Smart TV. There is also free high speed internet service.

The kitchen has granite countertops & new appliances, including microwave, double oven with cooktop, dishwasher & refrigerator. The large 2 level deck, with gazebo, offers lots of seating, a charcoal grill & a dining table for outdoor entertaining.

The separate game room has a pool table, a foosball table and a large patio offering a place to party, so the main house remains quiet.

Other amenities include beautiful sunrises, good fishing, an outdoor solar shower and a 3-person kayak. Enjoy the scenery from the covered boat dock or the party deck. The hammock and fire pit provide the perfect place to relax at the end of the day and enjoy a beautiful night sky full of stars.

Perfect family get together

Our long weekend stay was perfect for our family. There were 11 adults and 1 child (7 year old). There was plenty of room for us all.Host was extra good about quickly responding to all my questions beforehand. I feel lucky I was able to find it so we could all be together.

A great family outing

We had 12 family members from Texas, Ohio and Louisiana meet at this location for some rest and relaxation with lots of fishing. The home is beautiful and the location was perfect. The only issue we had was the place was not very clean. We did not bother the owners and just cleaned it ourselves.

Loved this property for our girls' getaway weekend! Owners provided plenty of outdoor seating to take advantage of spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Large kitchen accommodated several cooks at a time, and the numerous bedrooms gave each of us our own sleeping space. We had a wonderful time!

A great BIG house!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tranquility Cove. There was room for everyone and the view of the lake is beautiful. There was plenty of space outdoors and indoors for our big family and we made some great memories. The house stayed cool, the yard was big and shady, and the dock was fun.

Fantastic lake house

We had a great time spending the weekend at the lake house. The updated kitchen and bathrooms were very nice. We especially enjoyed the outdoor features - the large dock for our boat, nice grassy area, and the fire pit. We had a such a fun time and would definitely return.

Family vacation

Had a great time and enjoyed our stay immensely. Although the lake level was low due to this year’s drought, our grandkids had a great time utilizing the property’s paddle boat, kayak and game room. The family corn hole and pool tournaments were a blast. Very quite area on the lake and definitely recommend.

Labor Day Weekend

We stayed for Labor Day weekend. We had six adults and seven kids ranging from 5–16. We had a great time! The house was the perfect t size and allowed us all to enjoy a great weekend together.

Best lake house for a big family getaway

I highly recommend this house for a family gathering with all ages, from 4 - 86! My mom (86) even swam for the first time in years because it was so easy to get to the dock and in and out of the water. And we had the joy of being there for the July 4th holiday and the fireworks were fantastic!

Great family getaway

We had a group of 16 the house accommodated us well! The host had everything we needed. We had a great time on the lake and the game room was a hit with everyone. We also enjoyed the use of the kayak! We enjoyed Beautiful sunsets on a huge deck,the fire pit for s’mores and and the hammock to relax in. Pictures are accurate property is well kept.

30th Birthday Weekend

My family and friends stayed at the property to celebrate my 30th birthday. Everyone had an absolute blast and raved about the location and amenities. We spent almost the entire time on the deck soaking up the perfect weather, paddle boating, or playing a few games of corn hole. The location and surroundings were so peaceful. Great spot for boaters

Having your own boat ramp is an such a huge convenience. This house it made to be enjoyed on the back deck, or on the boat dock, or by the campfire. The interior of the house is not as big as it seems, but it slept 10 of us just fine, and we had plenty of places to sit inside or outside to eat.

Sweet 17 and the dancing queen

Our short little getaway to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday as the dancing queen turned out fantastic she loved the house and the scenery. Our family enjoyed the deck and my son enjoyed fishing. Thank you for allowing us into your home and staying.

Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood

In spite of the low lake level, our family had a great time. Pam, was very responsive, and answered all of our questions. The game room was enjoyed by all, and we were able to enjoy the kayak. The backyard is perfect for playing games, and we look forward to our next visit.

Great Weekend

The Perfect Gathering Place

This home served as the perfect gathering place for our large family. There was room for us all to be together to visit and catch up on each other’s lives as well as spread out and do our own thing. We ate, swam, fished, rode jet skis, played games and loved every minute of it. The owner was always quick to respond to my questions. Thank you for the memories!

Perfect for a large family gathering.

Rented Tranquility Cove for son's wedding so groom's family could stay together instead of renting hotel rooms. Sleeps 16 comfortably and plenty of room for everyone inside & out. Clean and spacious. The game room, boat dock and grounds were fabulous. I could live there. We hope to return in the summer when we can spend more time at the property. I would recommend Tranquility Cove it is a "perfect" place!

My husband and I bought this lake house to enjoy with our family and friends. We decided to make it available to others, as we do not live there full time.

We want our property to be a place for making memories and enjoying a relaxing getaway. We hope that our renters will value the property and treat it as if it were their home while visiting.

The large spacious home with guest house provides plenty of room for large family gatherings to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.

Why they chose this property

When we started looking for lake property, we viewed a lot of different locations on Cedar Creek Lake. When we drove into the driveway of this house, I remember thinking "this is it"! The view of the water and the layout of the property was exactly what we had been looking for.

We wanted to be in an area that was easily accessible from the DFW Metroplex, Houston area and Austin/San Antonio areas. Close enough to allow for a weekend visit, and far enough away to provide a break from the daily routine.

Our neighborhood has several full-time residents giving stability and a sense of home to the area.

What makes this property unique

Our house is located on a quiet cove, perfect for water play with less boat traffic than other areas of the lake. The view across our cove is undisturbed nature and provides the perfect backdrop for morning sunrises and nighttime star gazing.
