Castillon is one of the beautiful apartments in our exclusive building on the charming Place Dauphine square. IN THE HEART OF THE CITY, Place Dauphine is a historic location, having been built in 1610 at the request of Kind Henri IV. You will be SURROUNDED BY HISTORY while enjoying every modern convenience. State of the art elevator, separate washer and dryer, high security digital locks and double-glazed windows for good sound insulation allows guests to enjoy contemporary comforts in a remarkable 17th century setting.

Located on the fourth floor, the one-bedroom Castillon boasts a wonderfully comfortable queen bed, en suite bathroom, a powder room and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy a ROMANTIC dinner at your home away from home or snuggle up with some French wine and take in the Parisian scenes just outside your window.

OUTSIDE your door is one of the most coveted secret spots in Paris, the beautiful Place Dauphine. The square is lined with historic buildings from the early 1600s and is full of trees and a few perfectly placed benches to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. It is also a popular spot for locals to play a game of pétanque, which you can enjoy watching in the square or just listen to the soft clink of the steel balls used in the traditional French game from your window. The area is also popular with lawyers who work nearby at the Palais de Justice, so there are excellent cafés and restaurants to enjoy!

Great Paris location

Lovely Nest

The apartment is charming, albeit a little smaller than photos might suggest. We loved the delivery of freshly baked baguettes each morning. The apt was also extremely quiet which was conducive to good sleep. We found the instructions for utilizing the heater could be improved and adding the location of nearest post office to the guidebook would be a good idea. Otherwise, it was a fabulous place in a great neighborhood, and we highly recommend it.

Castillon Apartment - Paris Perfect

We had an enjoyable stay at Castillon apartment in Paris. It's location is very well situated to many historical sites on the Ille de la Cite and surrounding areas. At least 3 metro stops, including the RER are within 10 minutes walk. Beautiful sunsets looking over Pont Neuf bridge across the street from Castillon truly demonstrates that Paris is the city of light. The apartment was well stocked with dishes, appliances, and utensils to cook meals. It is decorated beautifully, Restoration Hardware lighting and decor, tasteful paintings, chandeliers, a beautiful color scheme that truly makes you feel authentically Paris sheik. The furniture and bed were comfortable for relaxing after long days of walking and seeing the sights. In the morning, freshly baked loaves of bread are left for you in the downstairs greeting room. Each morning, my husband would toast up some french bread with some jelly and a generous portion of wonderful french butter with coffee then off we'd go out into the beautiful city! We had only one issue while staying at Castillon, no hot water for 2 days. A Paris Perfect representative showed up to make sure all was fixed and we were doing well. I appreciated the concern.

Paris Perfect stay at Place Dauphine

We have recently stayed in the Castillon apartment in Place Dauphine Paris. As expected of a Paris Perfect apartment it was beautiful. Despite being compact it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The bedding is excellent quality, the ensuite works perfectly and the second wc is such a bonus. The kitchen works very well. The apartment is quiet at night and if there is any noise it is from families chatting or people playing boules in the ‘place’. We had no idea just how lovely it was to have a fresh baguette delivered to the foyer in the apartment every morning, such a helpful a thing, we didn’t miss a day enjoying that treat. Place Dauphine really couldn’t be more central. There is a lot to see on the island, a concert in Sainte Chapelle is an experience worth having. It’s proximity allows access to The Marais District, the Louvre, musee d’Orsay, st. Germain de Pres and the Latin quarter, many restaurants and supermarkets. We rarely caught a train. It’s a great spot and we would love to stay there again. No hesitation. Our contact person, Virgile was very welcoming and fluent in English. Anyone we have dealt with on the staff has been helpful, reliable and very professional. It is also well worth arranging Victor’s taxi service to transport you at each end of your stay. Thanks Paris Perfect for another wonderful French holiday.

Castillon

Paris Perfect is Perfect! For some time now we have been promising ourselves to spend more time in Paris. Hotels have been OK for a short stay but to be real Parisians only an apartment would do. This beautiful Apartment is in the very center of Paris on the Ile De La Cite only minutes from everything. Notre Dame Cathedral is just a couple of blocks away on the island and the hip Marais, where my wife took wonderful Ballet Classes, is only a few minutes away. A few minutes in the other direction is the Art Gallery and Design district of the 6th Arrondissment (with Restaurants and Movie Theatres galore). There are also 6 charming restaurants directly on the Square with one that even delivers to the apartment This building fully renovated a year or so ago, with a small charming lobby and a large (for Paris) elevator. Our Apartment Castillon was located on the 3rd floor with views from the living room and bedroom of the beautiful and peaceful Place Dauphine. The Apartment was fully and elegantly furnished in a mix of contemporary and French decoration. The modern kitchen has a full sized refrigerator (a rarity for Paris) microwave, stove, induction range as well as a dishwasher and washer dryer. It also has first class dishes, pots and pans and anything else you could think of and need. A very pleasant surprise was a Welcome package of basics such as milk and wine . The living room and bedroom are comfortably and fully furnished with elegant details such as a chandelier in each room and gold leaf mirrors. TV’s with US and foreign channels are in both rooms, unlimited free telephone call to the US and many countries. The Italian Bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in with deluxe French linens and Restoration Hardware stylish bed spreads. The Bath has a large walk-in rain/handheld shower and heated towel racks with lots of fluffy towels. There is also a quite large second room with toilet and sink. Very nice soaps and shampoos. We chose a winter rental (to coincide with the annual sales) and while Paris winters can be cold they are often sunny as well and the Apartment has excellent heating and Air conditioning. We are very frequent Business Travelers but have never taken so enjoyable a trip. We felt like real Parisians. The local Paris Perfect team couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly with orientation. Our only complaint is 2 weeks is too short. Next trip, 4 weeks!

A beautiful apartment in a wonderful spot

This is a beautiful apartment in a wonderful spot, Place Dauphine. The apartment design is both elegant and functional. Although the kitchen area is small, it contains what is needed, including a clothes washer and dryer. The Place Dauphine has a small, pleasant park (one of the oldest in Paris), where people gather to eat and drink and to play pétanque, a form of boule. It can get lively, but the windows on the apartment are reasonably soundproof.

“This location was truly Paris PERFECT! In the actual center of the city, we were able to use public transport and to walk wherever we desired. We felt comfortable in the neighborhood night and day and would highly recommend it to international travelers! The fresh baguettes delivered daily and the espresso machine in the lobby were a plus! We appreciated having the washer/dryer in the apartment as well and we used it. Overall, delightful and thank you for all of your help with our fabulous vacation! Hope to see you again soon! p.s. Fantastic, unforgettable stay.

Been to Paris several times over the years and run the gamut of places to stay - youth hostel in my 20s, various hotels. This was my first apartment stay, along with my teenage daughter - and the best yet. The photo is accurate; the apartment looks and feels very Parisian but at the same time it's really welcoming. When we arrived there was chilled white wine, orange juice, water, milk and little madeleine cakes - wotcha, Proust. Coffee machine and tea for the whole stay and fresh French bread downstairs every morning - you just help yourself. Lots of info in the booklet about where to find things and how to work everything. Lovely fully functional little kitchen (including washing machine/dryer and dishwasher) which was great. Paris has fabulous places to eat but few of them are cheap, so doing some shopping - there are supermarkets within easy walking distance - and eating in a couple of nights was fun and educational and good for the budget. Beautifully clean throughout, good towels and bed linen. Beds - even the fold-out sofa bed my daughter slept in -were very comfortable. It was the hottest week of the year, but all the windows open - with child locks - so didn't feel the need for air con though it's there though if you want it. You could eat every night just in the square itself- there are several nice places, but it's well worth exploring. Turn right for the Rue Rivoli and shopping with all the chains incuding Monki and Zara: turn left for boutiques, cobbled streets, bookshops and any number of cafes. We went to Maison Sauvage, super cool young place just down Rue Dauphine: the teen loved it. Also liked the vegetarian Paradis Magurite just across the river. We saw the amazing immersive Klimt piece at the new Atelier de Lumiere, wandered to Louvre which is literally minutes away, saw an arts degree show and went to Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower - all easy to reach. But the apartment was so lovely we also enjoyed just hanging out there, with the breeze blowing in and view of the Place Dauphine. The square has very little traffic, although it's not silent: people talk and eat and play petanque late into the evening. It was truly a Parisian experience while feeling completely at home. Highly recommended - would go back again. Tomorrow if I could!

We loved everything about the Castillon. It's location couldn't have been more perfect, walking distance to everything. Not only that, but because it is on Place Dauphine, it is very, very quiet which we appreciated. The apartment is very well set up with everything you need. The apartment is modernized with classic, beautiful french decorating. Every morning fresh baguettes are delivered to the lobby. Whenever we are in Paris, we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect apartment, perfect location, perfect stay.

What a complete pleasure to spend five days in the Castillon! The apartment itself is superb...comfortable in every way and equipped to anticipate every possible need. From corkscrew to hairdryer to Patricia Wells' book on French food - Castillon has it all. And each morning the tall wicker basket by the front door held a baguette for each flat in the building. The location in Place Dauphine on the Ile de la Cite is perfect for prowling both the Rive Gauche and the Rive Droite, on foot or by the Metro. On a foray towards Les Halles and the wonderful food markets of Rue Montorgueil, we even discovered a splendid indoor public pool (the perfect antidote to lots of terrific French food...). We look forward to our next stay in the Castillon!

spacious, luxurious modern apartment

The Castillon is a spacious, lovely, well-designed modern apartment with a loud and lively night life. My husband and I loved everything about our stay at 25 Place Dauphin and wanted for nothing but a book of matches to light the candles during a romantic dinner. Americans will find this apartment well within their expectations of comfort; the elevator is not at all claustrophobic. It fits several (even large) persons and luggage. Bathrooms and showers are not cramped. A big bed (although I wished it had been a king, it was sufficient and comfortable). From the moment we entered the place, it was magical to realize small little comforts had been attended to, such as milk in the fridge for the espresso that can be made in the machine by the sink--little cookies and jam to go with it. Bread delivered in the morning. And so on. You'll want to do some shopping in Saint Germain at Picard's so that you'll have options to stay in, because truly that is a wonderful experience too. The very loud ball games that take place right outside the window until 3am were quite charming to us as vacationers, though I imagine it might annoy people who need a good night's sleep. And the couch might need to be replaced soon as the seat cushions have a tendency to slide and make it less comfortable. Otherwise everything is beautiful and thoughtfully designed and how can you not love sleeping under a chandelier and a 400 year old wood beam? I will dream fondly of my time waking up for a little stroll on the Pont Neuf, but until I can return, I feel in exile!
