We had a wonderful time. The house was fully equipped with all you could need. Pool and hottub were wonderful and response time was very timely. Thank you again for the hospitality. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

Wonderful stay

This rental home was exactly as described and most importantly (to me), the cleaning was immaculate. The home is very well stocked and has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay!

The house was perfect for our family. The pool was great and the location was easy to get to where we wanted to go. The property managers were very responsive and handled the one issue we had with a sink within hours. Would definitely stay here again!

Super relaxing week in Palm Strings

Very comfortable and roomy house for a family of four. Spent a huge amount of time in the pool. Great location, close to everything. Would definitely stay again!

A time out from grieving

The master bedroom was hot the entire stay. We had the a/c unit and ceiling fan on. We had to bring in the floor fan. The a/c unit for this room needs to be replaced or fixed. The house was nice and clean. It is a beautiful property. Well located. Comfortably maintained.

Phenomenal luxury home stay

Staying at the Colony Contemporary is a luxurious treat with all amenities one could ask for. A stunning kitchen, relaxing living room and a pool area that is absolutely breathtaking. I really appreciated the privacy and AC. Five minute drive to anywhere in Palm Springs, yet feels secluded and private. Would absolutely stay here again.

Nice house with a wonderful, private backyard. Near the airport, but didnt seem to be in the flight path, making this a pretty quiet stay. ( many homes are in the flight path). Grocery store was walkable for nice early morning trips.

Christmas holiday

We had such a wonderful stay. The house was absolutely perfect for our Christmas vacation. We enjoyed the hot tub, heated pool, and watching the sunrise over the mountains from the back yard was stunning! The house is so clean and beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed to make fabulous holiday meals. Thank you so much, Poppy! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful little getaway

We stayed here for a 5 day relaxation trip. The check in process was very easy and listing was exactly how described. It is about a half an hour walk to downtown and a very enjoyable one. The property management team was very communicative. We had one issue with an umbrella not closing and that was our only problem....if you can really call it one. Nice and quiet neighbourhood with grocery stores and coffee places nearby. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay there again soon.

Extra costs

If you want to take a dip in the pool it will cost you extra $650. If you want to ck in early it will cost you $150. If you want to hear the first Airplanes take off at 5:45 am then this is the place for you! If you want heat you better bring your own blanket.

This home is advertised as Optional Pool Heat is for available for an additional fee October - May only. Pool heat was offered to this guest for an additional $550 (not sure where his figure of $650 came from); spa heat is complimentary with your stay in this home. Check in time is 3pm, and an early check in is charged for $100 plus tax. The heat was working during the guests stay, they just requested more blankets, and because we are not a hotel, we don't have extra blankets to take to the property. This property does not allow pets, however the guest informed us if we allowed their family members dogs (the family member came to stay because their home was broken into) that "it would go a long way of making our stay better, if you know what I mean". We allowed the dogs, and did not charge, yet the guest left a bad review - after his wife yelled at our staff and our vendors. We tried to make this guest happy.

A good find

The Movie Colony area is a wonderful location for those who want to be close to downtown Palm Springs. The house is spacious and very comfortable. There were two issues that came up with the house while we were there and Poppy's maintenance department dealt with the issues immediately plus their communication with us was excellent. The backyard is well laid out with the pool and hot tub right out the patio door. The beds could have been more comfortable especially if you like a mattress on the firmer side. There needs to be more hand towels provided for the bathrooms plus their were no washcloths. Lots of beach towels for the pool though! The kitchen is very nice, but if you are planning on cooking in, you will need to provide your own spices and herbs. The whole family enjoyed the stay at the home and would book it again.

Great property, Poppy is a joke avoid!

My poor rating is purely directed at the negative experience we had with Poppy the budget management company that the owner used. House was good, Unfortunately it was just one bad experience after another with Poppy. When we booked we explained we wanted a private yard and that privacy was our main priority (basically my wife and I wanted to hang out at the pool naked all day and enjoy the heat!). The company explained the times when pool or landscaping would come by and we organized to be away those times. First day, could not get the BBQ to work. When we called they basically called me stupid and said no one ever had a problem. They eventually sent someone who fixed it. So it wasn’t me, was the BBQ. Things happen, but to blame and make the guest feel like they did something wrong is unacceptable. No apology once it was fixed. First morning, landscaper shows up, wasn’t supposed to be there, and walked in on my wife and I naked. Proceeded to dump the hedge trimmings into the pool…. Called poppy again, was basically told they didn’t care, then they blamed the owner of the property. I reminded them they were the management company and it was their responsibility. Once again rude customer service. Over the next week we had 3 more un scheduled visits, the pool guy got made at us about a leak? Avoid Poppy! To the owner if you read this they blamed you for everything. We come every year to PS and will never touch a place managed by Poppy. 👎

The home was very clean on arrival and we loved the open eating/sitting area. Large windows to the pool area added to the ambiance of the home. Pool area was perfect for 4 adults and two grandkids! The pool area is surrounded by a very high hedge and provides not only privacy but kept any breezy days from disrupting our outdoor fun.Yes you are close to the airport, yes you will hear planes taking off, yes you will get used to it and carry on. We've rented many places in the valley and this is one of our top 2 to date.The property management team were always available and promptly answered any questions that we had. There is ample shopping nearby for groceries and coffee and some authentic Mexican tacos across from Albertsons. Enjoyed our week here !

Beautiful view and Home

Me and 3 of my best girlfriend came into town for My daughter's Bachelorette weekend and this house and Palm Springs dind not disappoint!!!! The view and the back yard take your breath away. So private and comfortable. We had great weather to sit outside by the pool. The house had everything we could have ever needed, even rops :)

Beautiful Property - Excellent Location

This house was just what we were looking for. There was plenty of room for us to hang out and enjoy Palm Springs. The place overall is very nice - it's been updated so 1/2 of the house feels very modern and new and the other half is still lovely but a bit more true to the original design. The pool and property were super private and absolutely spectacular. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Poppy - the property management group - was communicative and always available to help. Would very much recommend this property. Everything in Palm Springs seemed to be a 4-minute drive away which made it a great place to jump off and explore from.

Perfect Location

House is in a great location-a 5 minute drive to almost everything. Pool is nice-hot tub is nice. Great size for a family of 4 to spread out a bit. Loved the house decor!
