Wonderful property but check-out challenges

Wonderful property - loved everything about this place. The beds were comfy, house was beautiful and the water was amazing. Few things for others to know is that you apparently have to take all your garbage with you which is not in the add and a difficult thing to do if you are packed full which we were. We ended up paying the cleaner to take the garbage with her. We also were quite rushed at check out with multiple messages from the owner right at 11:05 when check-out was 11:00 (as was listed on the add - I think it has since been changed to 10:00). We were outside just loading up bikes and got ++ messages about leaving on time. But other than the checkout process the stay was amazing - was a sour end to an otherwise amazing vacation.

I appreciate the review Melissa. Our cleaner had indicated at 11:20 you were still in the home and we had a very quick turnaround to ensure the place could be ready for our next guests. My apologies if she was incorrect. We take the full 5-6hours to deep clean and sanitize everything to prepare for guests. If no guests are staying next, we will always honour a late check out request. Thanks again.

La propriété est superbe avec une très belle terrasse où on admire la rivière. Tous le logement est magnifique. Le seul point négatif est que lors de notre deuxième nuit, une autre partie du chalet a été loué par deux autres personnes. On pensait qu’avec la publicité de VRBO qui indique que l’avantage est de louer un endroit seulement pour soi qu’on serait seul. Donc, même si les deux autres personnes étaient discrètes et tranquilles, cela a eu un impact sur notre intimité et l’utilisation du lieu dont le quai.
