The four of us appreciated the historic woodworking, the separation of spaces, the well-appointed kitchen, the lake view, the hot tub, the laundry, and the responsiveness of the host. We highly recommend this property for location and comfort.
There was lots of room for six adults to be comfortable. Believe listing states two bedrooms on main floor. Be aware the "main floor" is on the second floor where two bathrooms are also located. Other bedroom and bathroom are located in basement. Towels, bedding and lots of supplies ie. Coffee, condiments etc provided. View was outstanding.
This is a lovely old house, so it creaks and the floors are uneven as would be expected. It is located on a quiet residential street in Haileybury. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequately appointed. Unfortunately we woke up the third morning with no heat or hot water as the boiler had failed; we had to move out to alternate accommodations pending repairs. We would not expect this to be a common occurrence and still think it's a solid option for visitors to the area.

Great View handy location
We loved the house. Did not like that the driveway was not finished and sinking sand in the rain. Home was very cute inside and cozy. Lots of Mice. We were always cleaning up droppings even drawers had fresh poop in them. We decided not to cook anything we bought to make as we were afraid of disease from the mice. We just went out or ordered take out. We always washed everything before using. Other than the abundance of mice it was lovely. It would have been nice to know about the driveway and mice ahead of time or at least offered a price reduction due to the fact that it was not as it should be.
