Very quiet & private location. Well appointed, stylish & comfortable. Stunning views & vistas from inside & outside of the accommodation. Heating & cooling was great. We enjoyed watching & listening to the native birds around the house. Easy walking distance to the main town centre. Covered car parking.Would highly recommend this stay.
Great house, so much attention to o detail, everything thing you could possibly need and more. The view is breathtaking, I had many happy hours with my book and a pot of tea on the sofa watching the sun set and the sheep come up to say hello.
Overall outstanding,too many features to list.It ticks all the boxes,peace,quiet serenity,sheep,rabbits,birds and the view is like a forever changing canvas,best in wild wet weather.
The Kirkwood was quiet and relaxing.It was great to arrive at the house with the air-con on .Only thing missing is ceiling fans in the bedrooms.Everything else was good.
The overall assessment is great. There were some frustrating disappointments;
1 bbq dirty on arrival , we cleaned it twice
2. Tv very frustrating, could not watch Netflix or Stan
3 only one small soap in bathroom
4 internet slow or cutout
5 no coffee plunger, pod machine great but only a few pods. We brought ground coffee but no plunger there’s a dripalater which belongs in the 1970s
6 To teapots but no looseleaf tea
Apart from these small things the place is really great
Beautiful use of space. Gorgeous views. Very comfy beds. Lovely little gift pack on arrival. Easy walk into town which is super cute. Looking forward to coming back in winter next time.
