Located just outside of Cardigan, this cottage is just steps away from the beach making it ideal for summer. Lots of privacy, and outdoor space for activities. Property has an outdoor shower, a bonfire pit along with fully equipped deck and sunroom with patio furniture.

We went up for a wedding at the Bruddnell Resort and this place was only 15 mins away, which was amazing! The place itself was very cozy, comforting and clean. We had a great stay and definitely would be back again!

First time VRBO experience

We really had a great time using it as a base to visit family and friends on the Island. This was our first ever experience using VRBO and staying at this place didn't disappoint.

Nice secluded cabin. It has a well supplied kitchen and comfortable beds. We were attacked by mosquitoes as soon as we got out of our car. Not sure if it’s always like that but we weren’t able to do much outdoors.

Clean modern cottage

Lovely spot New, clean, everthing as advertised Loved having the use of the kayaks and enjoyed the sun porch Large well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and nice having full sized laundry available

excellent first vrbo experience

We loved the cottage! It was so quiet and clean and well stocked with all the essentials you would need as a guest. The area of PEI is beautiful yet it is a fair distance to some attractions. However, we enjoyed a lobster supper close by and the quietness of the cottage and so for us being away from the attractions was not an issue.

Home Away From Home

Cottage and property are well taken care of. Very clean and organized. The space is inviting, comfortable and peaceful. Emily is a wonderful host and communication was easy and helpful.

Quiet little cottage

We stayed here for one week, with our two young children. The cottage was on a quiet street and we'll equipped. Access to the water is about a 2 minute walk from the cottage. Nice beaches about 30-40 min drive away (Basin head, Souris, fortune, Greenwich). We enjoyed our week in PEI!

Property was as advertised. Emily was very quick to response with any questions. Kayaks were an added bonus. The essentials for the first day ( hand soap, toilet paper etc. ) were very nice. The local beer in the fridge ( and ice) upon arrival was a nice touch. Great stay!

Excellent Host, Great Location for Golf and Cycling

My husband and I had a relaxing and active stay in De Gross Marsh. We enjoyed spending time in the sunroom, and taking in the breeze and sunshine. We are golfers so a short trip to Brudenell (and Avondale is pretty close as well). Enjoyed cycling on the roads and the trails. Some roads have a shoulder that accommodates cyclists and other roads have almost no traffic! Emily is a friendly, responsive and accommodating host, further enhancing our stay.

Cosy cabin was very cosy indeed!

Hello We loved our stay at the cosy cabin in Cardigan. The cabin had everything you needed for a lovely stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the only thing I was missing was a pair of scissors and muffin tins. We were there for a month stay so I baked a little bit too. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having a full sized washer and dryer. The fans were appreciated as there was no air conditioning and it was very hot some of the days we were there. The location was good, a nice town called Montague not too far out and it had all the necessities. We really loved PEI and hope to be back some day! Thank you Pat

peaceful little retreat

Very quiet and peaceful with pretty woods all around and a cute little beach with some of the reddest sand I saw on the island. Convenient to lots of places on the east end, which some people say is the most beautiful part. The host was SO kind and always immediately responsive to questions. And the house was very clean, well cared for, updated, and had everything we could need. The beach was probably a perfect launch for kayaking (though we didn't do that)-- maybe not so great for swimming, since it's a small, shallow cove with a lot of sharp shells on the bottom. I loved watching all the hermit crabs and birds though. It's a nice spot for nature lovers.

A very comfortable cottage in almost new condition

Comfortable beds, all new appliances. Had to adjust ROKU module at top of TV set to make the system operate. Suggest you provide more instructions re. garbage pickup including days and times. Suggest VRBO supply owner contact information including address of property to renter well in advance of arrival in case of possible communication difficulties.

Perfect Cottage, Perfect Location

This is the second year we stayed at this amazing cottage! The cottage and property are immaculate and the location is fantastic! Tucked away in a very serene area, yet close to two amazing beaches (Panmure Island & Basin Head), AMAZING restaurants, Montague, Cardigan and Georgetown, and close enough for day trips to Charlottetown and the Cavendish area. We love this cottage and all the amenities it offers - screened in porch, wood stove for a rainy night, bbq, fire pit, 2 min walk to a quiet beach, comfortable beds, with lovely linens, beautiful kitchen, a great shower, and a private yard to sit out and enjoy a morning coffee. The cottage is so beautiful and clean! We will be returning again next year as the cottage and location are simply perfect! Emily - the host and owner - is so kind and quick to respond to inquiries too! Do yourself a favor and book this cottage - you will be so happy you did!!!

Perfect getaway!

Clean, cozy rental with everything you need for a relaxing enjoyable stay. Beautiful, spacious, private property, short stroll from the water for a fun afternoon of kayaking. Cold local island beer awaits you in the fridge. Plenty of wood for a back yard campfire. Emily was a great host, quickly responding to any questions you might have. Would love to stay again!

Perfect Cottage, Perfect Location!

This cottage was in pristine condition - very comfortable and all the amenities anyone would want. Emily was very responsive and very kind. The cottage’s location was perfect! Close to spectacular beaches like Basin Head, Panmure, Greenwich and Lakeside. Delicious restaurants such as Clamdigger’s (Cardigan) and Windows on the Water (Montague). We even had the fortune of attending the Fireworks Feast at the Inn at Bay Fortune…all very close. We would highly recommend this cottage and all the comforts it offers. The wood stove was a great enjoyment on a chilly evening too. Thank you Emily for providing such a beautiful, private and all-around perfect accommodation for us! We will certainly re-book in the future!

Cozy Cottage

Cozy Cottage is the best description for Emily’s cottage. Check in and communication was great. Although we did not use the kayaks it was nice to know we could. Washer and dryer is a nice addition with a big family!
