We had an amazing stay at this cottage for our boys’ trip! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend. The location was perfect—close to the water and great outdoor space for hanging out. Urooj was super responsive and made check-in easy. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great getaway spot!

Right off the 401 but still on the water with that cottage country feeling. The host was extremely helpful with any concerns and the place was in wonderful conditions and filled with all the stuff you forget to pack. I have and will recommend this place to anyone.

Great spot for a vacation! Amazing view of the lake and great swimming spot. Everything was very clear, instructions were great, and the house was very clean. The kitchen was well supplied as well. We just needed to get our own coal/lighter fluid but that was stated before our arrival so we were well prepared. My only note was that the location of the cottage is that our service plans considered all of our phones to be in the USA and therefore none of us could use our data/make phone calls as we had no service, and the wifi only worked the first day we were there. Even when we did have wifi, it was very slow. If the wifi could be fixed, it'd be 5 stars. Otherwise, clean, beautiful, quiet, and well supplied cottage rental! Thank you for letting us stay!

Amazing staying

Excellent stay!

This was a beautiful property. Multiple large decks to relax on and the water in perfect view at all times. Very clean and maintained. Friendly host who responded to all questions very quickly. Highly recommend!

Great Cottage Rental

This is a fantastic cottage rental for a large family or group. We recently used it for a weekend as a group of 9 and there was plenty of comfortable sleeping areas, spacious interior for cooking and relaxing. The hot tub was fantastic and the rest of the property is great especially for outdoor games and bbq weekend. Would highly recommend.

A great stay!

We stayed for two nights with 3 couples and our young kids. We all enjoyed our stay and had a great time! The area is lovely and quiet, hot tub and views are great, the house was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. We also used the wood fireplace a lot and it was so cozy. The host was very responsive and helpful. Only complaint is the beds were quite hard. Overall a great stay, we would come back again!

Family reunion

The location and size was perfect for our party of 7 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very helpful and responsive as was the owner. The house is a bit outdated and could use some light renovations and care to add to its appeal. We would stay there again and recommend it to other guests for sure.

Lakefront VRBO Near Canadian Motorsports Park

We rented this VRBO for a race weekend at Canadian Motorsports Park. The house is just a 20 to 25 minute drive from the track, making it an ideal home base for our group. With its beautiful waterside setting and spacious layout, it offered both comfort and convenience throughout our stay.HighlightsThe air conditioning kept the home cool, even on hot afternoons.Ample linens and plenty of beds meant everyone had their own space.Modern design and large windows provided a stunning view of the lake.Handicap accessible entry and rooms made things easy for guests with mobility needs.Areas for ImprovementOutdoor noise restrictions start at 7 pm, which limits evening activities.Cell service is only reliable in the driveway, and roaming charges may apply.Wi-Fi was slow, a common issue in rural areas.No charcoal or firewood is provided for the fire pit.Beds are very firm, which might not suit everyone.The fire pit sits near the house instead of by the lake as shown in the photos, so updating the images would help set expectations.Final ThoughtsThis property is a scenic, comfortable getaway close to CMTP. Despite a few minor inconveniences, mostly expected in a rural setting, the home’s positives clearly outweigh its negatives. We would stay here again for another race weekend or a quiet lakeside retreat.

Not the best property to stay !!!!

This is one of the worst property that I have stayed in. The home was not very clean. When we arrived there were flies and spiders all over. Throughout our stay we had to deal with flies flying all around and cobwebs all over. Please don't look under the pillows of the couches - it was filthy. When we asked the property manager how to use the gas stove, he did not know!! On the listing they advertised that there was a pool and games table, no where to be found. Only pro about this property it has a nice view.

Great house and location - could have been a great stay if things were addressed

We had a good time at this VRBO. The location was great and the view was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and the walks down to the shore. We didn't have any communication with the property owner but the building manager stopped by the first night to see how everything was going. The kitchen was fairly well stocked but was missing some staples like ice cube trays, foil or plastic wrap, blender, and cutting knives. There is a BBQ but it is only charcoal so we had to buy some and luckily we had someone in our group who knew how to work it. The house provided towels and extra bedding which was helpful as the basement rooms get quite cold. All the beds are extremely hard and we suggest to the property owner to invest in mattress pillow tops. Many of our guests struggled with how hard the mattresses were. We also had an issue with the hot tub our last night of the stay which was not addressed by the property owner or the building manager so we were unable to use the hot tub for the rest of our visit which was disappointing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but feel it could have been much more enjoyable if we had contact with the property owner who addressed our issues, if the beds were softer, and if we had more things available to use in the kitchen like ice, foil, etc.

The place looks and feels great. Everything is good quality. The place is spacious and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a beautiful sound of the lake outside, feels a bit like the Atlantic. Really loved the feel of it. The hot tub is great and spacious. It wasn't too hot, but we told the owner and they told us they'd look into it. The manager of the property stopped by and was super nice. The correspondence before and after the stay was a bit delayed, but was very efficient during our stay. Overall, we had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

Family reunion

What a lovely setting! Our family was fortunate enough to arrange a surprise 80th birthday party/family reunion in this beautiful home. The property was amazing- the home itself was beautifully stocked with enough towels, spices (although we brought our own as part of our meal plan planning) , board/card games etc. No one was ever bored! Would highly recommend this venue! It was everything we hoped it would be!

Beautiful property

We rented the cottage for a girls weekend and had a blast. The cottage was spacious and had lots of beds which made sleeping arrangements easy. One of the main reasons we rented the cottage was for the beach access which there was if you got creative. There were tons of over grown brush and a 4 foot drop to the rocky beach. They did send a neighbor to weed whack a trail to the edge which was nice. But if you don't mind not getting in the water i would highly recommend this place.

Aabpara "Truly a piece of water" and more

I was born in a place in India universally acknowledged as “heaven of earth”, Kashmir is resplendent with Chinar trees that turn the entire valley yellow and red as autumn arrives, silver lakes that turn gold in the light of dawn, and the jewel-blue river that are souls of the ice-cold mountains. Aabpara gave me the same feeling of nostalgia. The coziness, the dĂ©cor, the furniture, the lake view and the snow clad large back yard took me back to my haven. I am looking forward to return in spring and summer again. Thank you Urooj for making this trip so special and you were so prompt in answering my calls even if it was late. I recommend experiencing this piece of haven by all my friends.

Urooj was an excellent host and the property was beautiful and comfortable!

We had a very relaxing vacation playing board games and making delicious meals in the gorgeous kitchen. The property is beautiful and private and has a view of Lake Ontario. We can't wait to come back and enjoy it all over again!
