Our Second Year

We enjoyed our stay in their beautiful carriage loft, slept well in the comfortable bed, relaxed with a big screen t v, enjoyed their lovely kitchen with all appliances and a sunny deck where we ate lunch. We especially liked the scones, jam, eggs and juice left for us on the first day, Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing find on Quadra!

AMAZING!!! We try to find the best short term rentals that fit our travel plans and this home was beyond expectations. The layout of the suite was PERFECT for a couple! It was bright, well-maintained and absolutely SPOTLESS. The location was close enough to amenities and the ferry to Campbell River, yet quiet and serene. It was all as advertised but BETTER!! It ended up being very close to our family living on the island, which made our visits so simple. We enjoyed eggs from the host's chickens, some wonderful homemade crab-apple jelly and freshly made bagels that were provided as a welcome basket. The hosts are lovely! We would highly recommend this Property! We will DEFINITELY be back!!

What a Gem!

Carol Ann and Ian have built the perfectly private and quiet carriage house for any couple looking for clean, comfortable and cozy accommodation on Quadra Island. Everything you need is there and we were made to feel so welcome as our 3 week stay progressed. Spotlessly clean, beautiful private deck, homeowners conveniently on the property but not in your space, 5 minutes from the ferry.

Just what we needed

Great property. Designed very well. Host was easy to communicate with. Everything was in working order and well thought out for our comforts. We felt it would be nice if there was a curtain in the washroom for a little more privacy. We would definitely come back again.

Great two night stay!!

Surprised my wife with a trip to Quadra Island. Having never been to Quadra we thought VRBO would be great. Our cottage loft was beautiful with all the amenities that we needed. Super comfortable king size bed, well equipped kitchen and a nice deck to enjoy the great weather. Our hosts provided us with suggestion as where to eat and what to do. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous Accommodation!

Luxury and comfort perfectly describe this wonderful loft suite. We have stayed in many VRBO and this one tops the list! The furnishings are beautiful and the kitchen is so well stocked. The breakfast basket waiting in the fridge was such a delightful surprise. Hosts Carol Ann and Ian were welcoming and at the same time the suite was a private oasis!

Lovely loft surrounded with trees and a beautiful yard.

We were welcomed with a gift basket of fresh eggs, jam and croissants. Everything was beautiful, comfy bed and a well stocked kitchen. On the one night the power went out, the generator kicked in right away with no inconvenience to us. We found the location was central to where we wanted to explore and look forward to a return visit next year.

Amazing stay

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway to Quadra. We feel so lucky that we were able to stay in Carol Ann and Ian’s beautiful suite. The craftsmanship is gorgeous and it’s incredibly comfortable. They are so welcoming and we enjoyed a few lovely chats and some fresh raspberries that Ian had just picked. We cannot wait to go back :) Thank you so much.

We are a late 50's professional couple from Quadra Island who love to travel! Carol Ann is a hospitality industry finance professional and Ian is a Director of business development, sales and marketing for Prince of Whales Whale Watching Eco Tours. We are avid volunteers within the Vancouver Island tourism sphere, both are past board Chairs of Tourism Vancouver Island. We've trekked in Nepal, floated down the Ganges, danced down Bourbon St, been awed by the likes of Angkor Wat and the Amazon. We love good food and wine and are avid music fans. We alternate our winter getaways between the ocean side city of Melaque in Mexico and somewhere more exotic. AquĂ­ vamos!
