Perfect home in a perfect location.
We had a great time in Richmond and this was the perfect place to stay for a family wedding and extended mini-vacation. Looking our of the front window onto Monument Avenue at a maple tree that was bright with autumn colors was an added treat. Great area for walking. True walkers can make it to the Virginia Museum and to Carytown.
Great Five Star Flat!
We had a fabulous stay at Cara's flat on Monument Avenue. Had everything we needed plus several goodies that she left for us. Beds were so comfortable and we really relaxed and enjoyed all of the rooms, especially the sun room. Kitchen was amazing with everything you need to cook anything from scrambled eggs to a five course gourmet dinner if you wanted. We will definitely book this flat again. Thanks Cara and John for everything.
Lovely stay in Richmond
The property is in a great location. The flat was very clean and very well equipped. It was all a great place to stay.
This rental was one of the best I’ve stayed at! Suited in a historic location and near everything Richmond! I would definitely stY here again.
Truly a home away from home!
This is a a beautiful home in a great location! Great place to share with family and friends - we felt very much at home. Would highly recommend to others visiting the Richmond area.
Nice flat in Richmond
Very nice flat. Pretty decor and a nice view. The flat was also very clean. The owner was prompt with communications. She met us at the flat to let us in. Parking is on the street but generally there are spaces available. A/c could have been a little colder, wifi could use a boost, and we had a difficult time getting the entry doors to shut properly.
Located in Richmond's Fan District, which is the larges contiguous Victorian neighborhood in the county. It is approximately a square mile with over 5,000 contributing structures. The Fan is a typical southern city neighborhood that includes city townhouses built between 1880 and 1925. It is a very walkable area with many options for eating and drinking nearby.
