Filthy home with algae-filled swimming pool!

Upon entering the home, the power was off. It was dark, hot and smelled foul. The refrigerator had defrosted and leaked water all over kitchen floor. There was only one (dirty) towel and one (dirty) wash cloth provided. There were no kitchen accessories of any kind provided. The beds only had sheets and pillows. (No blankets or comforters.) There was food and debris on the floor. There was trash left behind from previous renters. In the one hour I was there trying to get ahold of management, I was bitten ten times by mosquitos. We left to stay in a hotel due to unsanitary and unsafe conditions. It was supposed to be a four day stay in this VRBO. We traveled from Kansas City and were supposed to have our Grand Baby come swim in the pool. I have many photos to share... How disappointing!

Roaches & Not Much Else

There were roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. I contacted the person listed and got no response. The backyard trash had not been taken out and there were gnats everywhere in that area. Read the fine print for this listing. There are no comforters for the beds, no cooking supplies (pots, pans, spatulas, etc.); there are no utensils (except 1 butter knife), no plates, drinkware or cookware. There is no laundry or dishwashing detergent either. The pool area is dingy and dark. There was trash in the backyard along with cinder blocks and construction materials. The inside of the house is true to it's original build: the kitchen and dining areas are cut off from the living room. The house's interior is very dark. The exterior is unkempt with no attention to landscaping. We won't stay again. The house has great potential but roaches and a total lack of supplies is unacceptable.
