Historic home with a modern touch within walking distance to downtown and minutes to the shores of Georgian Bay and Blue Mountain resort.

Inside you will find a welcoming living room with a gas fire place, an eat in kitchen equipped with a gas stove. Office space, full bathroom and laundry facilities complete the main floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a luxurious 4 piece bathroom with a soaker jetted tub. There are two great outdoor decks for relaxing and the whole house is yours.

Excellent stay. House was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice backyard deck for relaxing outside. Location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shopping and events. We would definitely stay again. Our host was responsive and very helpful.

Check-in was simple, with hear to follow instructions and information provided before we arrived.The house was very well maintained, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was great with all the appliances, kitchenware and space we needed (and then some).We really enjoyed our stay and if we are in the area we would definitely stay again.

Excellent area

We stayed for 16 nights and the house was comfortable and close to town. We would suggest that the second room needs something to gang guests clothes etc as the chest of drawers was full of extra sheets etc. we contacted the owner when we arrived as the AXC wasn’t working this was dealt with over the next 2 days. The owner asked someone to bring an outside table as the one provided was broken before we arrived unfortunately this didn’t arrive. Overall a nice stay.

Weekend at Collingwood

Very comfortable home , well stocked, clean, great location, 10 min drive to Blue Mountain. We enjoyed our stay.Would recommend to others

Great weekend away

We all enjoyed our stay at this lovely, centrally located home. It had all the amenities we needed and made for a great place to watch a movie and relax after a busy day at the beach and in town! Short walk to the trails, downtown Collingwood and the lake.

Charming home and a short walk to downtown

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The home decor is charming , ample parking in the back , well stocked with all essentials , and a short walk to downtown. Recommendation for making it better would be a new mattress for the double bed room room upstairs - it wasn’t comfortable for me. I would rent it again.

A great get-a-way

The property was perfect....great location. Everything was sparkling clean and well stocked with more than we needed. We had an issue with one door which the host arranged to have fixed the next day. We did find that the AC was not working and we could not make it work. However, we have advised the host of this issue and feel sure that he will look into it. We really could have used it since the weather was quite warm. All in all thought I would recommend this home. Anne

Great location!

This property is within walking distance to main street, all restaurants and the beach. The house was very clean and had all the amenities and more! It's exactly as shown in all the pictures. The bed was very comfortable and a good size. We appreciated the bigger walk through closet to the bathroom. Very easy to communicate with the host and the check was very simple. We will definitely stay there again. The dog bowls were a plus and greatly appreciated. You don't need to post this next comment but if it would have been summer time, we would have been disappointed to see the pile of junk behind this very old little shed. A fire pit, with many cigarette butts. I know, not too much can be done about that but its not a good look. I am hoping that it will be tended to in the spring.

Perfect place

Booked this for a winter weekend getaway. This place looks even better in person than the photos listed. Great location, very comfortable, perfect amenities, details listed are accurate. Host was fantastic communicating check-in info and other little details. Loved chilling with my friends beside the fireplace, we left agreeing that we want to revisit in the summer.

Great place to stay

We really liked the house- it was very spacious, clean and very we stocked. It’s a great location and walking distance to everything you need and a short drive to ski. Will be back!

It was a pleasure staying here to rest after a day of activities in the blue mountain resort. Dane was very responsive and our entire stay was just smooth - our dogs enjoyed it very much too!

Wonderful Cottage, Great Host for a Collingwood Getaway

An older home that has been tastefully renovated and decorated. Very comfortable and well equipped, especially the kitchen and bathrooms which had modern appliances and everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The home is centrally located in an older residential area with many architecturally unique homes, well-kept with beautiful gardens and friendly people – a joy to walk the neighbourhood. Dane was very responsive and went above and beyond to correct a minor technical issue that we encountered on arrival, this was resolved quickly and the rest of our stay went smoothly. Highly recommended, hope to return again. Thank you Dane!

Excellent operator

Dane is excellent to talk with and deal with. We really enjoyed our stay. The house has a lot of objects in it so you must be pet smart. I would recommend this place as you can walk everywhere with great restaurants all close.
