Welcome to Sunset Bay, your luxurious beach holiday retreat located on level three of one of Mount Maunganui's iconic high-rise apartments.

This immaculately presented three-bedroom apartment is designed for small groups, corporates, or those seeking a romantic getaway. (please note, this property is not suitable for children under 12 years of age due to the body corporate rules within the complex).

As you step into Sunset Bay, you'll be greeted by stunning harbour views of Pilot Bay and Mauao. The resort-like feel seamlessly flows throughout the apartment, starting with the sleek, polished kitchen equipped with modern appliances. The kitchen is a haven for at-home chefs, but guests are kindly asked to be respectful of others by avoiding cooking pungent-smelling foods, such as curry or fish.

The stylish yet comfortable dining and living area invites relaxation, and air conditioning is installed for your comfort. Large floor-to-ceiling stacking doors open to the private balcony, where you can enjoy afternoon vinos and platters while basking in the sun and taking in the breathtaking harbour views. Please note that there are no curtains in the lounge area.

All three bedrooms are accessible from the living area. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, a private balcony, a large walk-in wardrobe, and a dreamy ensuite with a shower, toilet, and basin. Bedroom two features a king-sized bed and its own balcony, while bedroom three has two king single beds.

The main bathroom offers a shower over the bath and a basin, with a separate toilet for your convenience. The laundry room is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and tub.

There is one carpark available in the winter and two carparks in the summer. The carpark is a secure underground car park and free additional street parking is also available if needed.
The location of Sunset Bay is unparalleled, with Mount Maunganui main beach just a one-minute walk down the road. The popular Mount Hot Pools, located at the base of Mauao, are also a casual one-minute walk away. Your choices for eateries, restaurants, and bars are endless, and retail shopping is right at your front door. Enjoy the luxurious beach holiday you deserve at Sunset Bay.

Guest access
The check in is simple, detailed instructions will be sent to you on the day of your arrival. This is contactless and easy to access.

Kindly note that Mauao and the Mount hot pools remain closed until further notice.

- The main guest who books the home must be at least 25 years of age
- All linen is provided excluding beach towels - please bring your own
- Strictly no parties or gatherings
- No pets allowed
- Strictly no children under 12 years of age
- No smelly food to be cooked

Payment Terms:
Full payment for your stay will be processed 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival.

Bond Hold:
A bond hold will be placed on your credit card. This amount will be secured 7 days before your arrival. The hold will be released 7 working days after your departure, provided the home is returned in the same state it was found. In the event of any incidentals or excess cleaning, the necessary deductions will be made from this bond.
