This home accommodated our group just fine with spacious rooms and plenty of space for the 10 of us.My concern is the throw rugs all over the house and the danger they pose, They are a tripping hazard which we were dealing with. We had 2 walkers and one person who uses a cane. If the concern is to maintain the carpet you should consider putting in tile or flooring. Also this home requires you to remove your shoes in the house. I'm not comfortable with that.

This was a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Very easy to get to from the airport. Rooms were spacious enough as well as the two bathrooms. The only room for improvement from my perspective would be more utensils in the kitchen area and removal or tacking down the area rugs. There are rugs everywhere that pose a tripping hazard as I stumbled and my guests more than twice. Also, I may have missed this when booking, but making potential guests aware that shoes are not allowed to be worn inside the house. Some people have sensory triggers and do not like walking barefoot. Overall, we enjoyed the home immensely!. Oh, also TVs in more than just the main area. I enjoy watching television while in bed.

Great house with lots of space

The house was great for a family and friends, with a lot of room. The only negative comment is that the beds in the master suite were lumpy and saggy.

Hi Lester, we would like to clarify that this home is not suited for large parties or gatherings as this is specifically prohibited in the listing rules for the property. Unfortunately, since your group violated this during your stay and caused damage to the property, we had to evict you after the first night. We're glad you appreciated the home and community, but we ask that all future guests read the rules provided in the description before booking their stay. Thank you!

Good Thanksgiving Family Accommodations

House as advertised. Clean. Easy check-in/check out process. Plenty of room for our crew. Would suggest they enhance the baking pans and serving dishes to facilitate nights when preparing to eat in. Close to everything you could need. We would definitely stay again.

Did the job

Spacious house and was clean. Beds were comfortable. Neighbors around house had signs voicing discontent about property being used for rental. Very nice neighborhood. Only complaint would be too many rigs throughout.

Lots of room to spread out

Good home, we enjoyed our stay and all the space to spread out. Great beds and linens. However, there are rugs EVERYWHERE. The large area rugs are rolled at the edges creating a serious tripping hazard. I did trip the morning we were packing up to leave and sustained some moderate injuries that made a 18 hour drive home even more miserable.

Plenty of room

The home was spacious but it was difficult to locate supplies like replacement paper towels and kitchen towels. Nice perks included an air fryer and juicer. The toys available for young children were excellent. The trampoline provided fun for young (1 yr olds) and adults. The area rugs were very pretty but many were tripping hazards. We rolled up several of them because both adults and toddlers tripped on them. The house was in a nice neighborhood and convenient to many major roads.

Celebration of Life

The home suited our needs just fine. The beds and pillows were very clean and comfortable. There were ample towels. The kids had fun on the trampoline and we enjoyed watching the deer and fox in the backyard. There are a few things that could have improved our stay. An extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, a box of tissues and adequate hand soap at the sinks would have been nice. The carpet in the bedroom with the crib is a tripping hazard and because there were children in our group, the can of Raid in the powder room on the main floor should be relocated.

NOT elderly friendly. Would have been perfect otherwise.

NO FIRST FLOOR BEDROOMS. This is hugely important when you list your home as elderly friendly, say that there are grab bars in the shower and an accessible toilet. None of that matters when the bedrooms, accessible toilet and the ONLY showers are on the SECOND FLOOR, only accessible by a steep, winding staircase with a floppy metal railing. We had to send our mother to another hotel that cost as much as the rental since she was never going to be able to navigate the stairs, doubling our hotel costs. For that matter, it's not suitable for most children since the child gate at the top of the stairs is broken, and any toddler will not make it down those stairs in one piece. The listing feels very misleading mentioning these accessible areas that aren't. Please change the listing description because the house itself was a wonderfully maintained 70s time capsule and would have been a super fun place if we could have kept our family together for the whole trip. If no one in your party has any accessibility requirements, it's a perfect place.

From the owner: "Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the home well maintained and enjoyable overall. We’re sorry for any confusion regarding the layout, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. While the listing did not state that there is a bedroom on the first floor, it should be noted that there is a half bathroom on the first floor. To help avoid any confusion for future guests, the listing description has since been revised."
