Welcome to our beautiful 2-bedroom cottage, perfect for your next vacation! With a sleeping capacity of up to 6 guests, this cozy retreat is an ideal choice for small families, groups of friends, or couples looking to get away. The cottage is located on the border of Orillia and Muskoka and is heated in the winter, while also having air conditioning for the summer. Additionally, the heated pool is available from May to October.

The bedrooms of the cottage feature queen and double beds, night tables, closets, and a dresser. The living room has a corner sofa bed, a TV, and a coffee table. There is also a new kitchen.

At the entrance of the cottage, there is a large roofed terrace with BBQ and patio furniture. We provide propane tanks for the BBQ free of charge to our guests.
For our guests, we provide pillows, blankets, and throws. You need to bring your own bedding and towels, but if you forget something, no worries, we always have bedding and towels available for rent.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious and healthy meals. A fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, and coffee maker are all at your disposal. You will also find plates, cups, bowls, glasses, mugs, knives, forks, and spoons necessary for setting your table.
The cottage has a washroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.
For our guests, we provide paper towels, toilet paper, shampoos, conditioners, body wash, and hand wash in the cottage.
Internet and Rogers TV are also available.

On the resort grounds, you have access to a volleyball court, a heated pool, a patio area with a fire pit, and a children's playground. Across from the resort is St. George Lake where you can swim in clear and warm water and fish for those who love fishing. For resort guests, there are canoes, pedalboards, paddle boards, bikes, and many table and outdoor games available for additional rental fee.

Fishing, trails, golf, amusement parks, and the Rama casino are located in the vicinity of the resort. You will have unforgettable experiences and a great vacation!
For those looking to explore the area, there are nearby activities such as Casino Rama, a golf course with 27 holes, hikes, fishing, and Horseshoe Adventure Park, which is just a 25-minute drive away.

Unfortunately upon our arrival the pipes were frozen and therefore the cabin had no water. Cindy was quick to problem-solve and upgraded us to another cabin and it was very nice thanks Cindy for all your efforts

We can't thank Anton and Olga enough for their hospitality. The cottage was spotless, everyone was extremely friendly friendly and helpful. My friend and I are already planning on coming back next fall and staying a bit longer.As we were here after the pool had closed for the season we didn't use it b. Very pleased!

We will definately be booking next year! It's the perfect atmosphere for small children. Safe playground in viewing distance from the porch, the pool is positioned where it catches all morning and afternoon sunshine! We asked for a few extra stuff (extra garbage bags, new toaster since ours wasn't popping, and within minutes management returned with our requests). I can't rave enough!

Did not receive welcome package

The cottage was perfect, clean and well maintained. I don't believe it was the fault, but we did not receive our welcome package. We were unable to check in for quite some time, and because of the holidays, we were unable to contact the host. It was quickly resolved once we contacted vrbo and the host was very attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and were happy it was fixed.

- Too close to busy road to be able to walk dog safely in immediate area. - Beach area not part of resort property but across busy road and very small beach area. - Geographical location of resort too close to Highway 11 as four lane highway din could be heard constantly. - Cottage space adequate and had all amenities as listed in cottage specs. - Grounds around cottages well kept, nice pool. - Resort managers hospitable and helpful. - Good location tor activities in Orillia and area. - You might consider buying higher quality dishes and appliances. ie; microwave and kettle. - Also had issues with toilet. I had to prime toilet twice so it would flush. Toilet did not refill tank.

While Gables Cottage Resort is conveniently located close to Highway 11 for easy access to Orillia and nearby attractions, the cottages themselves are set back from the main road on South Sparrow Lake Road — a calm local street with very light traffic. Most guests find the area peaceful and relaxing, especially around the pool and picnic areas. We’ve also noted your suggestions about the kitchenware and the toilet issue — our team has already checked the plumbing and will continue upgrading small appliances for guest comfort.
