Acerca de este alojamiento
Large Mansion with Swimming Pool in a Pretty Village
I am offering our family home for rent in the village of Aigues-Vives, Gard.
Weekly rentals are preferred, from Sunday to Sunday, from July 6th to August 7th.
Built in 1865, this former winegrower's house was in operation until the 1950s.
It consists of several buildings, a tree-lined courtyard, and a garden with a swimming pool (not open in winter).
You will have access to the large 235m² house (5 bedrooms), the 41m² harvester's house (1 bedroom), and all the outdoor spaces, including a large gravelled and tree-lined courtyard and a swimming pool in a flower garden.
The ground floor of the house consists of a large, fully equipped kitchen opening onto the terrace, a spacious dining room, a TV lounge with a ceiling fan, and a guest toilet.
Upstairs, the mezzanine leads to the five bedrooms equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioning: three bedrooms with a double bed (160 cm), one with two single beds, and one with three single beds. They are complemented by three bathrooms with three showers, three toilets, and one bathtub.
The grape harvesters' house offers a bedroom with a double bed (160 cm), a shower room with toilet, and a living room with a kitchenette.
The house opens onto a large terrace shaded by a huge century-old hackberry tree, with a table and chairs for 13 people and a relaxation and reading area with comfortable garden chairs.
In the garden, completely private, is the 7m x 4m swimming pool. Next to this pool, the former chicken coop has been converted to house a bathroom with a walk-in shower and sink, and a separate toilet.
The pool area is separated from the rest of the property by a wooden fence with a lockable gate.
A ping-pong table and a foosball table are available for your use.
The municipal tennis club's courts are a 5-minute walk from the house. You can reserve a court online for €15 per hour on the Anybuddy website.
Parking is available inside the property. Free street parking is also available.
The house is located in the heart of the village of Aigues-Vives. The bakery, grocery store, butcher, cafés, restaurants, and pharmacy are less than a 5-minute walk away.
The village is located between Nîmes (24 km) and Montpellier (36 km). It is lively year-round, and the locals are welcoming.
The pretty town of Sommières, with its colorful and lively Saturday morning market, is a 20-minute drive away. The beaches and the Camargue, and Aigues-Mortes are 30 minutes away.
The Pont du Gard and the beautiful towns of Uzès and Arles are 45 minutes away. Les Baux-de-Provence and the Carrières de Lumière are 1 hour and 15 minutes away.
To reach the Cévennes, Anduze and its bamboo grove, allow 1 hour.
