The Mars Barn: Spa pool, Sauna, Stars & Serenity

We enjoy offering our guest house to those couples wanting short or longer stays on the Kapiti Coast, north of Wellington NZ. The decor is a modern barn/cottage theme. It’s a large 60sqm space with lots of natural light. It has a rustic wood feature wall, 8 meter Bi fold doors, comfortable queen bed & fold down bunk, full kitchen , washing machine, & ensuite. The doors open to a sunny patio & flat lawn. The views are of country hills, horses, friendly goats & pool.
The space
It the perfect place to escape, read, relax, and enjoy the peace, space, & stillness of the countryside and crisp clear night skys. There is also a 12m in ground pool that may be useable during the day when we are home & by prior arrangement.
Guest access
The barn has its own entrance driveway. You pass through two gates where you arrive with ample parking for your vehicle and enough turn around space for even the largest of camper vans, or vehicles towing caravans.
Other things to note
you'll love your nights stay, and 2 nights is even better.
We have a romantic outdoor wood fired bath you may be interested in utilising ($25 to heat and set up). If the weather is suitable, you can pre arrange viewings through a 2.2 meter, 6 inch refractor telescope. The telescope is housed in its own observatory next to the barn. The solar heated pool is also available in season & upon request. It'll be cool from May-Oct, & enticing Nov-March.
Access to children’s climbing bars and trampoline upon request. Use at own risk . Parents to supervise at all times. Thank you.
