Tucked away on a private, fenced 2-acre lot, this charming retreat provides the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway. Lake stay

A/C worked great. Lake view was pretty. Plenty of bedrooms. The beds weren’t super comfortable. If you’re just looking for a place to fish and lay your head this place would suit you.

Quick Birthday Getaway

This is the second time we have stayed here and have really enjoyed it both times. The house has had some updates which were really nice, especially the bathroom! And the water levels coming up in the lake so there is water behind the house again made it so peaceful. We had everything we needed and extra. The owner is always great about communicating and supplying the little extras (like coffee and filters) that just make even that more enjoyable. I look for to stay here again!

Great Views

I can only imagine how great this would be if the lake was full instead of only half. Dogs loved the fenced yard and the views were great. The water is pretty far away now but wouldn’t be if lake wasn’t so low. Very well equipped with necessities!

Graduation Getaway

Overall it was really a good stay. All the little extras like laundry soap, extra trash bags made it worth the stay. The extra large yard made it a shear enjoyment with our dogs. Loved the back deck and having coffee in the morning. I would totally recommend staying here again.

Great place to stay for family visits

We stayed here so that we could visit our grandchildren and it is a wonderful place with a febce yard. The kitchen is well stocked.

Texas Wedding

We stayed at the property for a wedding. We also hauled horses from Michigan and they allowed us to keep the trailer on site. We took the horses to their own destinations before the stay. The place was all that is posted. We enjoyed the large yard and lake. Plus the zebtlras and camels near by!

Memorial Day Weekend

Only issue we had was bugs in the bathroom when we first got there. After we got rid of them all was well. Property was excellent for grandkids & dogs. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a reasonable place to stay!

Peaceful corner property. Purple martins were everywhere with waterfowl and an abundance of wildlife. Had no complaints at all.

Great microvacation!

House and property were exact fit into our wishes and expectations for short gateway: 2 gated acres (we needed this for dogs) and access to the lake through private gate - lake Leon is only 150 feet away! House is full of extra everything (if you forgot something) and clean. Very generous and convenient check-in and check out time. Tommy is exceptional host: very responsible and responsive (when we had internet problems, he helped right away: Thank you!). Sincerely, Dmitri

Good lake house

The communication and check-in/check-out process was excellent. The overall stay was ok. The main thing to know is that this is a lake house. The condition of the house really wasn't as advertised or depicted in the pictures. The furniture in the living room has all been chewed on by dogs and there is animal hair in the creases of the chair and couch along with some old food. We had to clean most of the coffee mugs as there was still stains in the bottom of them. Some of the wall paneling was bowing off of the wall in one bedroom. In this same bedroom the pull chain for the ceiling fan light was pulled out, so if you wanted to sleep with the fan still going you had to unscrew the bulbs from the ceiling fan light fixture. The area above the stovetop hasn't been cleaned in a good while. There is bad termite damage around the window seal of the window by the refrigerator and there are soft spots in the floor. All but one of the beds are in desperate need of replacement. Again, this is a lake house and it is just fine for our group of friends for a weekend fishing trip. The location of the house is nice and has very easy access to the water just on the other side of the chain link fence.

Vacation 2021

Had a great time!! Thank you. Daughter got fresh eggs and boiled eggs mixed up and we colored fresh eggs!! Put all the candy in cabinet over oven then cooked ham for three hours and melted all the candy for the plastic eggs!!!

Family adventure

We had a great time the kids love going out to the water it was great being able to bring your dogs on a vacation and just relax. The town is a short drive so it was nice if you needed to get anything. Would do this again.

The furniture needs to be updated throughout the house. It also needs board games, playing cards and dice. Other than that, this is a great place to stay.

Perfect for R&R

This was a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of our big city. It was quiet, beautiful view of the lake and the house had everything we needed. The only thing that could have made our stay better would have been better weather but of course that's out of all of our hands. The owner had great communication and very helpful information.

Great place to relax and enjoy the lake, the beauty and the quietness. It's great for families, business travelers or just a get away for a few days. The lake is behind the house and sits on 2 acres fenced. Has outdoor grilling or fire-pit. House easily sleeps 6 and has extra beds if needed. Lots of space for kids to put up tents for the outdoor fun. There are two docks very close to the lake house for docking your boat. Great Fishing!
