Beautiful Country Stay

This was one of the best VRBO stays we've had. The property was beautiful and the apartment was cozy and peaceful. The hosts were so nice and accomodating. I highly recommend staying here if you want to relax and enjoy God's creation.

We had an amazing stay at the Sunset View Home. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We loved seeing the chickens and farm cats and dog each day. The house was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed driving around and seeing all of the farms and exploring Smithville Lake and its trails.

Loved every second of this place! Perfect for a couple and a small family! The people that run it are the nicest people ever! They are so friendly, have a pup named Piper! She was a sweetheart! Fishing getaway

Sunset View home was perfect for my husband and I. Super close to the lake and boat docks. Plenty of room at the property to park our boat and pickup. Steve and Tammie are fun hosts who make you feel very comfortable and all your needs taken care of. The home was super clean and had everything we needed. Piper (the dog) and Duncan and Bo (beautiful cats) made our visit all the better. Will most definitely stay here again.

Myself and 2 other ladies gathered here for a long weekend retreat and we couldn't have been happier with our chose to stay at Sunset View home! The decor was tasteful, welcoming, and homey! We loved the view of stars in the night sky and a wide welcome of morning sunrise! The shower is very small and was our only slight downside, but everything else including the landlords were a true delight. Cozy beds and well prepared kitchen, extra bedding, and towels. It was a wonderful stay and we would definitely return!

Midwest magic

This rental is a gem! What a beautiful spot to relax & experience the midwest at its best. I rented this place for my friends and I, and it was such a perfect way to experience the Midwest! The covered patio for yoga or chatting in the morning or beautiful sunsets in the evening, a walk around the property especially to see the fireflies at dusk, or to pet their sweet dog and chat with the wonderful, friendly hosts. It was great to be out of the hustle and bustle, but also close (30 min) from KC, or less than 20 min from nearby towns with grocery stores and restaurants. The apartment was clean, well taken care of and had everything we needed. We will be back again! Book it now!

Serenity at its finest!

Having come from a bustling city, and visiting family in the area who also reside in a bustling city, this was the perfect place to go home and relax at the end of each day. The apartment was even more pleasant in person. It was a treat seeing all the animals roaming around on the property! The owners were extremely hospitable and communicative. They made sure we were always comfortable and wanted to make sure we had anything that we could have needed. The location was great as well - in a very quiet area but not too far of a drive from the city. This is somewhere we would absolutely stay again whenever we're back in the area!
