Nice quiet place in older neighborhood. Back yard was under renovation making our spring visit a bit messy. The hot tub was exposed to multiple backyards. Good area for walking the dog.

Very quaint and private unit. Clean and spacious! Great neighborhood 10 minutes to downtown & boardwalk. Garden was under repair and the hot tub was out of service. But the host is willing to work with us. Great guy!

Adequate rental but outside space needs improvement

It was a good basement rental for 2 adults and a dog. The inside was clean and adequate for our stay. The outside needs work, the backyard was overgrown and not useable for sitting out. Wouldn’t take a lot to bring the backyard up to a decent standard. Would have liked to have sat outside to eat but curry unable to use the outdoor space in condition it’s in. The inside space was much nice than outside space and unfortunate as when u arrive your fist impression of the house and property is not great. We hadn’t realized that was a basement unit as photos show a whole house, but happy to say that we couldn’t hear the people uostsirs.

The hot tub was not running, and was very dirty. The Wi Fi had the wrong codes which we had to message about. The pullout couch was not comfortable at all. The couch was stained and old. The dishwasher was full of dishes which we left where they were. The grass in the yard had not been cut. The kitchen, fridge, stove, coffee maker was nice. The shower was nice. It was quiet for sleeping in the master bedroom.

Had a lovely overnight stay. The weather wasn’t the greatest but we made the most of it. The hot tub was something our group was looking forward to and they were happy to be able to use it with no issues. The unit was very clean including the hot tub and towels were prepared for our arrival. We were happy to find lots of games onsite and played a few rounds and had some big laughs. Location was perfect proximity to downtown plus it was easy to get to as well. The host was fantastic and was communicative the whole stay. I’ll definitely be looking for this listing the next time I come to town.
