Wonderful getaway

My husband and I had a great stay in Matakana. Couldn’t get closer to the action! Easy walk to restaurants and super close to the markets on Saturday morning. The cottage was sparkling clean and very well appointed. Would highly recommend

Nice little unit

Great location, easy to find and park. You can walk to shops etc. Well equipt kitchen. We didn’t use the outside area as it was cold and a bit wet but it looked nice.

Amazing End of Our Honeymoon

Amazing stay in this cute shed in Matakana. Beautiful private backyard area and walking distance to some great restaurants. Beautiful surrounding wine and beach area as well. We will be recommending this place to everyone going to the area, and hopefully will be able to come back soon. Thank you for the amazing last couple days of our honeymoon! Winter getaway

Wonderful stay at the Matakana Sheds. The outdoor fire and bath were perfect and really made the experience,as outdoor areas don’t look so inviting in winter otherwise. Cosy little accommodation with everything you need. Location was excellent, couple of minutes walking distance to shops and restaurants:pubs. Highly recommend

When is a shed not a shed!!!

The hosts are lovely... Sally was so friendly, helpful, allowed me to charged my electric car, which was awesome!.... Excellent location for the village and Saturday Market... easy walking everywhere and just a short drive to the plethora of beaches and tourist activities. The outdoor bath was so great on a starry night.... And I couldn't believe how quiet the place was, considering it's on a main road.... Would I stay here again... absolutely!
