Bella Vista is a cozy lakefront cottage with private lake access! Enjoy breathtaking views from the spacious lakefront deck or the bright and airy sunroom.

Located on charming Cedar Island, the cottage is just down the road from Kingsville and minutes from beautiful sandy beaches, unique restaurants, wineries, craft breweries, hiking and bike paths, and waterways for canoeing, boating , fishing and golfing.

High speed Internet makes this an ideal location for remote work and business travel.

The Space:
Our cottage has a bright and airy feel with several comfortable seating areas inside and out. Guests can relax on one of our two decks, in the beautiful sunroom or the cozy living room.

Inside the Cottage:

-2 comfortable seating areas, one overlooking the lake and the other with a gas fireplace

-dining area with seating for 6

-sleeping areas include 2 bright bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds and sunroom with a pull out queen bed

-The 4-season cottage has high-speed fibre Internet, ROKU fire stick tv, antenna, mini-split with air conditioning and heat, and a gas fireplace

-Fully equipped kitchen with a 5 burner gas stove with oven, refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser, microwave, Keurig combo coffee maker and all essential kitchen items

-Washer and dryer are available for guest use

Outdoor area includes:

-3 private on-site parking spots.

-spacious lakefront deck with a large dining table, comfortable conversation area and a propane fire table

-private access to Lake Erie

-separate sandy area with seating area and beach toys

-Napoleon natural gas bbq and a charcoal grill

-second deck with cozy seating area

Guest access
Guest access is via a smart lock home system that is personalized for every guest.

Guests can check in any time after 3:00 p.m. with the keyless entry code that is provided with check-in instructions.

You will have access to the full cottage, a spacious lakefront deck and private beach area.

Please be mindful of our wonderful neighbours! Noise levels down from 9:00 pm to 8 am. Short-Term Rental (STR) Licence #STR25-005 has been issued by the Town of Kingsville for the period of April 11, 2025 - April 11, 2026.

It was our second stay here and once again it was wonderful. Beautiful area, super cute and cozy cottage with an amazing panoramic view of the lake right in the back yard. We can’t wait to go again next year.

Absolutely delightful!! Charming, comfortable, amenities are top notch, views stunning. We’ll return! The owners are attentive, thoughtful and respond quickly. It couldn’t have been cleaner. The kitchen is well equipped, bath towels are soft & thick, games available.

We had a lovely stay at Bella Vista. Really cute cottage feel, with a lovely view right on the water. Bright and clean; well stocked kitchen; everything you need. Excellent for the two of us. Great location for winery touring and a trip to Point Pelee. The rail trail - Greenway Trail - is 3 km away for a nice gravel ride. Highly recommend this place and would stay here again if we come back to this area.

Comfort with a great view.

Tony and Mary-Jo have done it right with their beautiful cottage Bella Vista. We enjoyed the the surrounding area with shops and recreation at a fantastic kayak business "Somewhere Else Experience " on the Fox creek. They're hospitality was inviting and sincerely appreciated by our group.

Perfect Getaway on Lake Erie

The space was perfect for a getaway to Lake Erie. The cottage has wonderful outdoor space and lakefront access all within a short drive to downtown Kingsville. Even when inside the octtage you enjoy the lakefront views with all the windows and sunlight coming through. The cottage had everything we needed and was a delight to stay at.

Everything about Bella Vista exceeded our expectations. We were surprised with how spacious and clean the cottage was upon entering. The view whether inside or outside is stunning. Perfect for our young family. We were able to swim, enjoy the lake and play board games (provided) on the deck while our youngest napped. Both children enjoyed the sand area daily. We enjoyed watching the sunsets over the lake and a storm across the lake one night. Quiet respectful neighbours and amazing hosts!

Best Vacation Rental in Kingsville

The place was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Excellent Cottage

The deck!! We spent so much relaxing time on the fantastic deck....right on the water! The rest of the cottage was great as well. Very clean. We also enjoyed exploring nearby Kingsville. The hosts were great...very helpful and communicative. You will enjoy staying at this cottage.

Kingsville lake retreat

The actual property is a lot better than what was shown on the listing. Me and my family enjoyed our stay and we had so much fun. We are already planning on booking the same place for next year and invited other friends to check this place as well. The owners are very prompt responding to our queries and they are very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody. We can’t wait to get back next year.

Mini vacay

Bella Vista is a charming property on Cedar Island with absolutely incredible views. The cottage is extremely clean and well appointed. Everything you need is there. The hosts are very thoughtful, leaving a personalized greeting and a very tasty welcome gift. While the lake breezes are lovely to listen to, we were there during an incredibly hot spell and the air conditioning was very much appreciated. The deck has sun and shade at times and a large table and chairs set along with a cozy smaller table and chairs provide options for soaking up the sun and amazing views. Located right around an easy 10 minute drive to Kingsville shops, restaurants and grocery makes this a great choice. Last but not least, the hosts are incredibly attentive, thoughtful and very easy to talk to. We absolutely plan to return. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Beyond expectations

Lovely, updated cottage with everything we needed. This is the perfect cottage for family with younger childern. There is an upper deck with patio seatings and table for eating. Off the side there's a small sand pit, perfect for younger childern to play without access to the lake... much safer option! When ready, the whole family can enter the private beach area from the ladder off the upper deck. It was very ideal for us with kids age 6 and 8. The hosts have set up a well thought out cottage with plenty of everything we needed to make a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

« Nothing compare to U »

An extraordinary experience. The chalet is located on a majestic site overlooking and hearing the waves of the immense waters of Lake Erie. The terrace is very pleasant and has everything you need according to the pictures. The chalet is tastefully furnished; the owners have thought of every details. Welcome gifts awaited us, and it was an opportunity to discover local products. One last detail: we should have rent for the wholw week instead of only 3 nights. Excellent value for money.
