Great location!

Great location with a balcony view of the ocean. Very nice unit and comfortable bed and living space. The location is convenient to many restaurants and a short walk to the beach. We had a great visit and will definitely be back!

It was in need of a little maintenance though, bathtub knob fell off, kitchen faucet was extremely loose. The decor seamed quite personal to the owner to be a rental and some of wicker furniture was rickety

Condo is close to the beach

It rained off and on during our stay; it was nice to be able pop-in and out as the weather changed. Unit was as described. Included a DVD player which was a bonus during inclement weather. The shower curtain liner was filthy. Otherwise, the unit was clean.

This condo is very small, and the pullout couch should not be considered a sleep option for anyone over the age of maybe 10. The mat on it is paper thin. It was worse than sleeping on the floor. We were given 3 bath towels for 4 adults for 3 nights and when I asked for more, no one responded back. Emerald Isle used to be very nice but it's gone way down. The noise of all the construction constantly was awful and messy too. I've stayed in these condos years ago, wish I had known how run down they are now. Won't be back, much nicer places to stay for the prices we paid.

Location of this property is excellent! The only complaint we have with the co do itself was the carpet in the bedroom was nasty, as well as the area rug in the living room. You could tell it has been there awhile and not cleaned. Had to wear our flip flops or socks in the bedroom. They could also use a new lock on the door. Other than that it was perfect for me and my husband.

Great building, not so great unit

Unit was not as pictured. Owner should consider staying in their own unit prior to listing and providing description. Manager was open and said kitchen sink was broken by previous guest, and would fix on monday. Not an issue. But upon arrival to the unit, we found things to be quite worn out. Floors were clean, but that was about it. Dust on lamp shades (easy $5 fix). Dish cloth used as table decoration. Pull out couch, however blocked by a monstrosity of a coffee table, so had to block balcony door to get bed opened up. Food on the walls and cabinets in the kitchen. Master bedroom comforter was as thin as a sheet. Went to use the shower, and the hot water knob came off in our hands. Property manager was contacted about our findings/concerns, and their response was we could bring the keys back and check out if we would like. We have stayed in this building 6 or 7 times now, and love it. But not this unit!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was easy to locate and matched the pictures and description. We did have a broken dish left on the dresser of our room and the bedroom tv had a line in it. We reported first in an email and second in person. The location to the beach is the true draw of this property! It felt a bit deceptive to say you get beach access for a condo that sleeps four for only two people. We had to pay daily for the additional chair/umbrella. The furnishings and decor definitely show signs of wear and tear and have seen better days. It is functional, just not aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely recommend reducing the decorations sitting around - it would be overwhelming if you had small children. It would also make the area feel more spacious. The patio furniture felt like repurposed plumbing assembled together - not a fan. There was literally no room to get around on the balcony. This is the first condo we have ever rented that had no beach items for times outside of daily service.
