We loved our stay. We stayed with my husband’s side of the family at this property and felt like we had a good amount of space. Kitchen was beautiful. It was nice that so many of us could hangout in there while cooking meals. There were a lot of steps to the beach as the property lists, so I’d recommend bringing a cooler with the items you’ll need so you don’t have to go up and down so many times. The fruit flies were intense in the kitchen even with keeping fruit and veggies in the fridge, but the house and beach definitely made up for that! We would stay here again in the future.

This house was fantastic for what we needed. We had cousins and sisters all staying together under one roof. Plenty of space to spread out in the home. The private beach access is priceless. There’s quite a few stairs down - but the sunsets and night swimming were a dream. The bedding, bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well equipped. Centrally located half way between St Joseph’s and South Haven where you can explore water activities and rent kayaks, jet skis, ATVs and more. Private and remote up the road to the home, but with neighbors not too far so you don’t feel isolated. The perfect beach rental.

Amazing Vacation

This was an amazing vacation! The house was a blessing. Very clean and website didn't disappoint. We'll be staying there again hopefully in the future. Thanks for a wonderful time.

As we read beforehand, there is quite a stairs down to the beach (85 steps, and they tend to be a bit steep). For most it was exercise, but for me being partially handicapped, it meant I only went down twice in 2 weeks. It was nice to sit on the deck listening to the waves and children playing on the beach, though. Thankfully there is a generator, as we lost power for 8 hours early in the trip but it had no impact on us. The master bedroom is on the same level as the kitchen and living room, so that was good for me. It would have been nice to have had a TV in that main iving area. We wouldn't have run it all the time, but there were times it would have been nice in the evening. I was tempted to place my laptop on the hearth.

Beautiful home, property, and beach. We had a wonderful weekend. Everything was clean and well equipped. The beach was stunning and quiet. There were a ton of stairs (85!) to get to the beach, which wasn’t a problem for our group, but is helpful to know. We loved the screened in porch, the kitchen was great for cooking, and the bunk room was perfect for the kids. Two primary suites made it comfortable for two families traveling together.

Lovely home and beach

We arrived to a gated community home and that was reassuring! The home itself was incredibly clean and nicely furnished. It had everything we needed! Bring your own beach towels. For our active family, the amount of stairs indoors and out was just fine, but it might be too much for someone with mobility issues. Most of our time we had the beach mostly to ourselves and enjoyed long walks searching for beach glass and rocks. Swimming was enjoyable and the water is a great depth for children. We spent a day in south haven, which is a very cute town with plenty of restaurants and shops to enjoy! The last day there was a renter right next to us who was smoking on their patio and beach so that took some enjoyment away, but not too much. The house next door seems to be a rental as well so you will have some neighbors, but the deck has nice privacy and you feel secluded amongst the trees. We had wished our stay could be extended, which is the sign of a great vacay! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone who is ok with a little exercise to and from the beach. The home and views are lovely!

Total of 7 people stayed, but family stopped by in addition to them one Saturday. We had a to drive 15 minutes away to park due to the strict parking rules. The neighbors called the property owners and lied and said we had 20 people there and 9 cars. We did have Instacart delivery of groceries and a few people visit.We were a quite group but the property manager had to come get a head count and called me but I didn't answer right away because I'm on the beach and I can't hear my phone. I felt really disappointed by getting in trouble. Such a strange feeling to get interrogated for a few visitors. It was the afternoon and we were not even playing music just talking but no more then 12 total are allowed to be there. We had 15 because of family stopping by for a few hours.overall I took it well but it was dramatic. I felt very unwelcome. I get that you can't have an event, but do not have anyone stop by. I even told them ahead of time I am having people stop by but they aren't staying the night. The place was nice. I saw a fuzzy gray mouse on the stairs and the place has a ton fruit flys. But it has God like sunsets and tasteful decore.
