Rustic Log Cottage in Woodchuck Bay on Lake of the Woods with a Sand Beach
The property consists of a small 1960's log cabin where the kitchen, living room and a screened sitting area are located. This is all so where there is two bed rooms and a 2 piece private wash room. The two bed rooms have sliding barn doors and 3/4 height walls like would be found in period typical log cabins. Near the main cabin there is an outdoor shower lots of hot water and adequate privacy for you to enjoy how you wish. This is the only shower on the property which we find quite lovely and a really enjoy.
Going down to the boat house which is located right on the waters edge has a large sitting deck on the second story with patio furniture as well as additional sleeping area. In the boat house bunk room there is two partially separated sleeping areas one with two double bed and another with one queen bed.
The beach is a natural sand beach not often found at cabins on Lake of the Woods. The water gradually deepens and the dock has good water for boats and is approximately 5' deep. Please be mindful of the depth if swimming off of the dock.

The cabin was clean and better than expected for a rustic cabin. The boathouse deck was a highlight for our stay and we spent many evenings there enjoying the incredible views. The bay was quiet and we only had neighbors on one side so it felt very private. Lots of seating throughout the spacious property, awesome docks extending out to the deep water, and the water toys were a plus. Sean was a pleasure to deal with and very quick to respond. We highly recommend this property!
