The lakehouse's wonderful! Everything was as it was advertised online. The view and the amenities were both excellent. Me and my visiting family from our of the country had a great time. Also, Bruce and Sarah are the best hosts! We hope to visit again and will definitely recommend to others.

I had a peaceful stay at the Lake of the Woods Lakehouse in late August 2025. The house is perfect for enjoying views of the lake and relaxing after an afternoon exploring trails around Kenora. My family loved to have coffee and play cards on the upper deck. The walkout basement is convenient to access the backyard and water front. I would stay at the Lakehouse again if I were to vacation in the Kenora area.

My group of 6 persons enjoyed our stay at the lake house. It is located in Keewatin on the water with a with a hot tub and other nice features to make your stay enjoyable. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and the property was as described.

We were there for meeting and training over 3 days. The environment was amazing. Lots of space for when we needed to be together but also space to do your own thing. The sun rises and sun sets were stunning. The whole place was clean, comfortable and a real treat. Totally recommend

Perfect getaway!

The property itself was beautiful. Well kept and in a gorgeous setting. Sarah was wonderful to communicate with - friendly, helpful, and always prompt replies. The layout was great for our extended family - 7 adults, two children and an infant were all able to live and sleep comfortably in the space. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful stay, everything exceptional!

We had a lovely time at Sarah and Bruce’s property, from first contact to check out everything was seamless! The place is extremely clean and modern, and it really feels like a home. Location was central and was close to grocery stores, parks etc. The view of the waterfront was priceless and swimming off the dock was so easy. The hosts really made an effort to make us feel at home, thank you so much! I really couldn’t recommend this place more, we will be back soon!

Lovely Lake of the Woods

Couldn't ask for a more beautiful location. The home was plenty big for our families to be comfortable. House was clean, and had everything we expected it to have, and much more that we didn't (the hot tub was a bonus feature we weren't expecting). Very thoughtful that we had a canoe to use as well. Sarah was very receptive to our questions and did her utmost to ensure we had a great trip. Our families agree, we would stay there again.

A Great Place to Relax, and Let The Lake Calm Your Soul.

Despite Being So Close to all of the "Action-" our Neighborhood is Very Quiet and Private. You Can Do as Much or as Little as you Wish Here! Go for a Boat Ride, a Hike, Hit the Bars and Restaurants in Kenora and Keewatin, Catch the Farmer's Market, or a Concert Under the Big Tent at Kenora's Harbourfront. You can Access the Town on Foot, by Car- or by Boat.
