I had a peaceful stay at the Lake of the Woods Lakehouse in late August 2025. The house is perfect for enjoying views of the lake and relaxing after an afternoon exploring trails around Kenora. My family loved to have coffee and play cards on the upper deck. The walkout basement is convenient to access the backyard and water front. I would stay at the Lakehouse again if I were to vacation in the Kenora area.

Breathtaking view

Stunning

We were there for meeting and training over 3 days. The environment was amazing. Lots of space for when we needed to be together but also space to do your own thing. The sun rises and sun sets were stunning. The whole place was clean, comfortable and a real treat. Totally recommend

Breathtaking view

We couldn’t be more happier when we walked in this beautiful place! With both levels offering beautiful views of lake of the woods. Perfect getaway!

The property itself was beautiful. Well kept and in a gorgeous setting. Sarah was wonderful to communicate with - friendly, helpful, and always prompt replies. The layout was great for our extended family - 7 adults, two children and an infant were all able to live and sleep comfortably in the space. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

Well appointed lake house.

My group of 6 persons enjoyed our stay at the lake house. It is located in Keewatin on the water with a with a hot tub and other nice features to make your stay enjoyable. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and the property was as described.

Impeccable property & unbeatable location

This is a beautiful multi-level home with every comfort, fronting the lake, and walking distance from basic amenities and restaurants (yes—walking!). The communication with the hosts was rapid and friendly, and a minor problem with the heating system was resolved in good order. The house itself was clean and tidy. Also, a special note about the guest information book: it is useful! Well done all around.

Perfect location for Lake of the Woods (LOTW)

Well kept. Access to LOTW. Beautiful beach with nice walk in depth. Nice hot tub for late nights. Perfect for family get away if you love LOTW. Everything the listing describes is accurate.

Lovely Lake of the Woods

Couldn't ask for a more beautiful location. The home was plenty big for our families to be comfortable. House was clean, and had everything we expected it to have, and much more that we didn't (the hot tub was a bonus feature we weren't expecting). Very thoughtful that we had a canoe to use as well. Sarah was very receptive to our questions and did her utmost to ensure we had a great trip. Our families agree, we would stay there again.

2 day getaway

Listing is as advertised. Well stocked home which is particularly welcome when you fly in. Best part if sitting on the dock listening to the waves and the loons. Peaceful and private.

Wonderful stay, everything exceptional!

We had a lovely time at Sarah and Bruce’s property, from first contact to check out everything was seamless! The place is extremely clean and modern, and it really feels like a home. Location was central and was close to grocery stores, parks etc. The view of the waterfront was priceless and swimming off the dock was so easy. The hosts really made an effort to make us feel at home, thank you so much! I really couldn’t recommend this place more, we will be back soon!
