This listing is for the lower level of the home only, though the suite has a private entrance and is entirely self-contained. The house features a clean, modern design that will make you feel right at home. An open main room is where you'll find a variety of furniture for relaxing in the living area, a flatscreen TV (cable and WiFi included), dining area, and a fully equipped kitchenette. In addition to the regular bed, an air mattress is also available. You'll have all the essentials you need to make your favorite meals, plus a mixer and coffeemaker. Everyone will fit around the dining table to eat together.

Great home the garden apartment was great for two. Home is fully fenced and gated.. we ended up with neighbors above us which helped me feel more settled... Just a personal thing. Basic necessities all there. The coffee, tea, sugar were an appreciated addition. We didn't have a car...so walked a lot which was fine for us. There is a very big hill to climb...most direct way to the house...it is strenuous we took it several times! Great workout. Would recommend renting a car or using Taxi's if you like to get around faster and explore more easily. A couple Taxi recommendations on the last page of the house info. Neighborhood very active. Very close and great local restaurants Jalepeno's and Rolson's. And a big market Helen's at the bottom of the hill 😎. Everything you need. as an aside to the area: We found a great tour company Tucan Shuttles in town we booked with to see Xanatunich and got us over to Guatemala the following day walked us over the border to their driver on the other side that took us to Tikal . Were we stayed one night (did sunset tour and following a.m our own walk about t through Tikal amazing!) They returned us to San Ignacio the next afternoon...seemlessly. It was a great experience!
