Make memories with the family or friends at this peaceful little spot on Tracadie Bay. In this one of a kind cottage, you will enjoy the privacy of this little home away from home. Take advantage of its great location near Charlottetown, the North Shore beaches (6 min drive to the PEI National Park). Relax around a camp fire in the evening after a great day spotting eagles, swimming, and paddling down the river with the provided Kayaks. Or, relax on the patio and enjoy the sunset.

Open concept Livingroom with smart TV and a supply of board games
Kitchen includes mini fridge, beverage fridge, microwave, 2 burner cooktop, air fryer and a Keurig with complimentary k pods.
Bathroom has a clawfoot bathtub with shower, toilet and sink (Towels Provided)

We were looking for a quiet little getaway with our family and we're pleasantly surprised by what we found. The bays waters were warm and calm and the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. Shawn was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Our dog also loved the beach and waters just as much as our kids.

Shawn’s place was the perfect spot for our family’s stay on PEI. The location is ideal for exploring the central and eastern coasts, and a quick trip to Charlottetown! Our four year old loved the games and playing on the beach right outside our door. It was very buggy, so would definitely recommend bringing repellant during the warmer months!The house was stocked with everything we needed, and the little kitchen served us very well. We brought some DVDs which were fun, but didn’t mind not having WiFi for the week. Shawn was easy to communicate with, friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We loved our time here!

This cottage is centrally located to exploring the island but feels remote and idyllic upon each return. It's incredibly clean and well appointed with everything we needed for a week . Especially enjoyed kayaking on the bay, birdwatching with the provided binoculars and incredible sunsets over the water.

Beautiful spot with everything we needed

We enjoyed our stay and found everything we needed for the week. Space was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped for the simple cooking we did, the porch and beach were perfect for relaxing, bird watching and watching sunrises and sunsets.

We had a wonderful time! The waterfront location with easy access down to the water was perfect, as well as the kayaks and paddle board available to use! They went above and beyond with essentials you may need while staying, and were very accommodating when I asked if it was possible to check in a little early! The upstairs got very warm and the bedroom only had a double bed which was quite small but that was advertised in the listing and we were expecting it. A window fan is provided which did help cool the bedroom down a lot at night. The weather didn’t cooperate for 3/5 days so we did end up spending a lot more time inside than expected but it was cozy and they provided dvds, games and books to help pass the time! We would definitely come back here again!

Stay Longer

Excellent place, private, peaceful. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Lovely warm and shallow water for swimming and paddle boarding. The cabin is clean, cozy and beautiful. We brought our own internet but never used it, the view was too beautiful to look at a screen. Neighbor and host are very friendly. Thanks Shawn.

A Slice of Heaven

This beautiful property was out slice of heaven for 6 days. The cottage is well appointed with supplies and amenities. The hosts left us some yummy local treats to enjoy as well. I worked all summer and stayed here for the first week of September. I can tell you that the tranquility and calmness of this property made me sleep like a rock star!! Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

Long weekend in PEI

This is a great cottage, only recently completed so its new, and clean. There are many well thought out details to be found. The location was great for us, far enough out to be "away" but a short ride to Charlottetown, Rustico, the beaches, or Cavendish. There is no wifi but cell service was good allowing whatever level of connection we wanted. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard as well. Thanks!

Unplugged get away.

Private, quiet and cozy. Had AC downstairs and ceiling fans upstairs. Peaceful being unplugged, and nice amenities with games inside and the kayaks, paddleboard, and canoe outside. Cottage was clean and well handcrafted with nice finishing touches. Well thought out and met our family of three's every needs.

Ideal couples vacation spot!

This was such a gorgeous little house to stay in and the perfect home base from which to explore Charlottetown, PEI national park, many beaches, and other sights. The house was immaculate and had so many small touches we really appreciated (bedside tables with little lamps on each side of the bed, lots of hooks, kitchen amenities, plenty of towels, etc). Our host quickly responded to every question I had and was very helpful. Beautiful location with herons in the cove most days. Prepare for mosquitos but that’s not specific to this property. There was a nice amount of space for the two of us and our dog, but a small family could stay comfortably here as well.

Small. Bar fridge not sufficient to keep all items cold. Cooking prohibitive - had to eat out mostly. TV had no service. No response from owner to use TV.

Thank you for your comment, I would like to respond and mention all information was in the ad so there should have been no surprise to what fridge size and to what cooking appliances were available and that there is no wifi available. I did check all correspondence between us and could not find where you tried to reach out, if I did get the message I would have responded promptly. Shawn

Great location on the water. The cottage had enough space for the 3 of us (all adults) yet felt cosy and comfortable. Lovely kitchen area. We will be back.
