Another great time!

We love this apartment! This is the third time we have stayed here and it is wonderful! Well equipped, comfortable and plenty of room! Catherine is an excellent host. She responded quickly to any concerns we had, even arranged for a taxi when we left. Can’t wait to come back again!

Central location

Excellent location for walking tour of many central city sights, nearby to fabulous gourmet food & clothing stores, restaurants & wine bars. Clean, comfortable & spacious apartment.

Excellent stay

Amazing

This comfortable apartment is in a lovely neighbourhood with plenty of eateries close by. It also has easy walking access to metro and many of the sights of Paris. We were two independent women travelling together and it was just perfect for us.

Wonderful! Very comfortable, large windows that let in fresh air and sunlight, and the apartment was actually bigger than I had anticipated. We loved the neighborhood. Everything we needed we could find just on that street! We hope to come back someday soon.

Repeat tenant

This was our second stay at this property. It was just as positive as our first stay, and would definitely book it again. It is very spacious, clean, well furnished, and with all the amenities you need. We find its proximity to the metro to be extremely helpful and for times when you do not wish to venture too far, there are multiple shops and restaurants steps away. Very pleased with our stay.

Great apartment in great area

Walkable to prime shopping areas, good local restaurants and easy access to metros and buses. Apartment has Very ample space with comfy beds and nice living room area. Lots of light and sun from windows overlooking streets and garden from high floor. Very well maintained and clean and thoughtful And considerate owner who wants guests to have a good experience during their Paris stay Would highly recommend F & H from New York

Beautiful Parisienne experience

This stylish apartment was very comfortable with everything one needs to enjoy a visit to Paris. Excellent area with neighbourhood restaurants and cafes at your doorstep and plentiful bus and metro options to easily reach most sites of interest. Quintessential Paris!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay in this apartment. It is on a quiet residential street and being on the 6th floor, the apartment is easily accessible by a quaint elevator. The apartment was clean and featured all the amenities for a perfect stay, including a washer and dryer. The squeaky floor in the living room added to the charm, but it was very quiet; we did not hear other occupants in the building. The hostess was quick to respond to our questions and needs, and the check-in process was effortless. The location is close to bus and Metro lines, and for us, it was walking distance to the Louvre and Arc de Triomple. Many stores (Monoprix, Paul) and eateries (Le Weekend, La Pate a Noodles) were close by. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again. It is the perfect spot when thinking about Paris!!!!

First class experience

Everything promised in the listing is delivered and more. The appliances and fittings are all high end and work beautifully. The principal bed is extremely comfortable with high end linens and covers. Importantly, there is a comprehensive folder of instructions and information. Directions provided by Catherine for arrival and access were timely and accurate. Overall a superior experience in every respect.

A week in Paris

This was a great apartment for two friends returning to Paris after meeting 34 years ago at the Sorbonne. It has everything needed to make you comfortable. The location has easy access to the Metro, shopping and restaurants. We bought excellent baked goods, cheese, fruit, and wine from stores on the street. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or keep the windows closed as this is a city without downtime and street noise can be noticable on weekends. Having said that, it's a minor thing in the overall experience of having a lovely home from home in the 8th Arrondissement. Thank you Catherine!

Dream Vacation property

My friend and I stayed here for a week . Wow! Can not say enough good things about the apartment ! My friend stayed on the pull out sofa and said it was the most comfortable mattress . So both beds very comfortable , locations ideal- short walk to multiple subway stops , easy walk to the Tuileries , etc . Great neighborhood , on the street of the apartment - great restaurants, any store you need close by .Caroline was always in touch and very easy communicate and work with . The space was ideal and we could see tippy top of the Eiffel Tower ! Lots of light , and space was ideal . Would definitely stay here again !

Feel like a Parisian

Location is very good. Not in the center of town, you need to use transportation to get around. Did walk to Sacre Couer in half an hour and to the Opera house. Some days were hot, no a/c but the breezes kept the apartment cool. Kitchen and bath were remodeled. Bath towels were few and not great quality and the clothes dryer was maddening trying to turn it on. My only complaints. Loved the views from the house and all of the eateries on Madeline. And I loved Paris!

Perfect!

This flat was perfect in so many ways... The location couldn’t have been better. Within walking distance to everything, but away from the crowds. The flat is very spacious, with a kitchen that has everything you need to prepare any meal. There is a butcher right next door along with a small market...bakery across the street and on the corner ( I preferred the one on the corner). Monoprix supermarket is a 5-10 min walk. There is a taxi stand around the corner, metro station , and Uber was never more than 5 minutes away. Uber was €45 to CDG at 7am..took approximately 40 minutes. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was there. Indeed, a home away from home. I had guests over during my stay and everyone wanted the information on the flat to rent themselves. I would definitely rent again!

Week long vacation in Paris.....

My daughter stayed in this apartment for a week in Paris this month. We loved it. Beautiful, big space with a nice kitchen and bath and a half. It was perfect for us to have our own sleeping rooms and space. The apartment was perfectly clean and the housekeeper greeted us at the door upon arrival. The Madeleine neighborhood is a bustling area and perfect if you like high end shopping. It is also close to the Louvre and the carnival - we started our visit with a spin on the ferris wheel to take in our introductory sunset our first day. There is a quickie market directly underneath the apartment as well as several restaurants in the immediate area. We especially liked Cafe Madeleine across from the church. The pizza across the street was great for a quickie take home meal late at night. We often returned after midnight and never felt unsafe. There is also a suburban train station nearby if you care to visit Disneyland. Catherine was very responsive beforehand so we knew what to expect. We hope to be back one day. Heather

AVOID

Having rented in Paris many times, This is at the bottom of the list. On the 6th floor and the elevator malfunctioned 4 times. "it happens sometimes" (owner). GREAT, 6 flights with luggage and groceries. In the process of climbing the stairs, you find mouse bait on every landing. Definitely NOT CLEAN. Then photos make this place look new and shiny, IT IS NOT. The 1/21 bath baseboards were filthy and the paint was peeling. In Chambre 2, the sofa is very dirty. The television is in that room and if you want to watch Netflix, bring your own account information. As for extras...In every apartment I have rented in Paris, the "host" has provided a new sponge for the kitchen (all the sponges including the kitchen were crusted with who knows what). All prior Hosts provided one or two tabs for the washer, not here, I had to purchase detergent for two loads of laundry and obviously leave it behind. Same for soap at the sinks. We were two people in the apartment and we were provided with ONE TOWEL each. Never had that happen before. If you wish to sleep before 10pm, nice try. There is a child in the upstairs apartment who runs the floor each evening. As for owner communication, great before check-in. Not so much afterward. If you like lugging suitcases up 6 floors, you'll love this place, if not LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Wonderful home in Paris

Our family had fabulous holiday and stay here in Paris. Very spacious and the apartment had everything we needed. I appreciated the extras in the kitchen and it was quite well organized. The neighbourhood had great food options and it was easy to find fruit and essentials. The rooms were cool with the warm weather and we only had to turn on the air conditioning once. I was so impressed with the sofa bed - I wish our sofa bed at home was as comfortable! Will definitely come back for a future adventure in Paris. Thanks for hosting us!

Charming apartment, lovely location

My daughter and I enjoyed a week at this address this June. Very good communication with host, easy check in and out. Close to metro (Madeline was our most used M), shops- including higher end shops on Blvd Haussmann (like Printemps and Galaries Lafayette). We walked to many locations as this area is very central. Little food markets and plenty of multicultural restaurants within just feet of the front door. Would love to come back.

Excellent Stay in Paris

We were thrilled with our stay in Catherine’s home. The check in was smooth, it has an abundance of space for 2 adults, and the accommodations were comfortable. The location was ideal for the Madeleine line, and many restaurants and stores in a 10 minute walk. The area is not filled with tourists, making it a quiet place to spend our down time. I would feel comfortable recommending this space to anyone, and would gladly stay again.

The best place in PARIS best location

This appartement located in the Golden triangle of PARIS Place Vendôme , Opéra, Madeleine, in the top floor with elevators. Big kitchen like many parisien with love to have fully equipped refrigerator friser , oven , microwave, cafe maker etc. Dinning room to seat 6 people, 2 bed room. 1 1/2. Bathroom with tob shower. Big living room, just next door on the street Boulangerie Epicerie, bar, restaurant 3 minutes to madeleine, 5 minutes to Opera, 6 minutes to Place Vendôme Thank you Hervé San Francisco
