Perfect location for walking to restaurants and coffee shops. But the best thing about this rental is the VIEWS! It's on the 4th floor so all you see is endless sea! Large balcony that holds 7 people comfortably with the view of the beach and beautiful sounds of the waves!

Very Disappointing Experience — Spiders Found in Our BedOur stay in Destin, FL was extremely disappointing and not at all what we expected from a vacation rental. We discovered spiders in the master bedroom bed, which is completely unacceptable and incredibly unsettling, especially when traveling with children. We were also bitten, which made the situation even more concerning.We contacted the rental company, and while they acknowledged the issue and said they would review our request for compensation after checkout, we still have not received the refund or compensation that was discussed.We understand that issues can happen with vacation rentals, but finding spiders in the bed where we were supposed to sleep is a serious cleanliness and safety concern. What has made the experience even more frustrating is having to continue following up about compensation after the problem occurred.For the amount of money we paid for this vacation rental, we expected a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I hope the company will make this right, but as of now, we are still waiting for the refund we were told would be reviewed.I would strongly encourage anyone considering this rental to read reviews carefully and ask questions about how situations like this are handled before booking.

We've stayed at 30A for 15 years and this was our first time at this location. The reviews are right - the view is fantastic. Unit was very clean and comfortable, rental company was easy to work with, and they had PLENTY of starter supplies (we barely needed any from the store), all was great! Just a few things that might keep me from staying here again - first, it's right next to the public beach, which does make it more crowded than other areas. Nothing can be done about that and the view makes up for that - just making sure others know this. Second - and this is a nit pick - some area rugs might be nice for the common areas for comfort, as sand travels :). Finally, and the biggest, is the beach chair company - we brought a tent as we were told we could give it a try. We were told on the beach it wasn't allowed, but a single pole umbrella would work. So we got one of those a couple of days later and were then told that wouldn't work, all the while seeing this same company let two other couples use them in the same area. So we were forced to not use anything. Since it's a private beach, I'd think the condo association would get to dictate the rules. Either way, an FAQ would go a long way so people don't have false expectations. To me, it was either you had to either pay for the beach chairs or not have shade. We've stayed at other places where these were included in the price. Just a suggestion for the future. Thank you.
