It was so cozy, and the walk to the beach was short. The town is cute; we love the market. We will be back to Manzanita, and we would stay here again.

A nice little beach house tucked away in the woods, great for a couple. Overall, the house was a bit run down but very clean- could use a refresh. Seemed overpriced. Good location to walk to the beach.

Great Choice in Manzanita

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a cozy time at the Sea Squirrel. It was just the 2 of us and we had plenty of room, especially with the 2nd living space in the loft. We loved the location, which is very close to the beach and also very walkable to town! It was quiet and nestled in the trees. It has an older, cabin feel, but we found that to be cozy and comfortable. Everything was very clean and in workable order. There was even a decent, newer pan for pancakes, which is a rare find in vacation rentals. The wood stove worked flawlessly and easily. We would definitely stay again. The only thing missing was a view of the water. (We knew it did not have a water view...but that would make it even better.)

Cozy and comfortable! Room to spread out and even a loft for computer work or exercise. Kitchen well equipped and when i found no blender but asked for one it was purchased and cheerfully delivered. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and proximity to the beach.

We’re so glad to hear that you found the home cute and cozy—thank you for sharing that with us! We also appreciate you bringing the bedroom closet door to our attention, and we’re happy to let you know that it has now been repaired. Thank you as well for your feedback regarding the deck. Coastal weather can naturally cause outdoor wood to appear more weathered over time, but please know that we regularly inspect it to ensure everything remains safe and in good condition. That said, we will absolutely pass along your suggestion to the owners regarding a potential power wash or fresh staining. We truly appreciate your stay with us and would love the opportunity to host you again. If you reach out to us directly for a future visit, we’d be happy to help you find the perfect home to match your preferences.

Wonderful little cottage near the ocean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Sea Squirrel in Manzanitas. The location was great--a short walking distance to the beach and the downtown. The beach is spectacular and endless, fun for collecting sand dollars at minus low tides. The downtown is cute, with a few good coffee places, shops, and its own winery! The house was clean and comfortable--in fact the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We highly recommend staying here!

Perfect couples getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a wonderful place that I gifted to my Son and Daughter in law. They loved the back upper deck surrounded by the trees and said it was so peaceful and serene. It is close and an easy walk to the beach access. It was cozy and adorable inside with a very comfortable bed. My son said it was great to be able to work in the loft where there is a desk and great wifi to work with. They want this to be their home away from home whenever they come to the beach to visit.

Tranquil, quiet cul-de-sac. Management company very responsive.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I absolutely loved staying in this house it was very clean, and they left a little care basket. It is in a cul-de-sac so you hear no traffic. It’s a short walk to the beach that I enjoyed every day. Just standing on the manzanita beach is life changing. Living a very stressful life staying in this house and walking on the beach was exactly what I needed I highly recommend staying and it was such a comfort to have the management company local because they were able to give me advice where to go and what to see. They were so friendly and answered my stupid questions with a smile. I dealt with Jeffie let’s just say awesome.
