Beautiful beach but.....

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect with your own private deck. The condo on the other hand had a mattress that is broken and almost impossible to sleep on. The dishwasher half way works and we had dirty dishes upon arrival. Other than that great location and great management company.

Right on the Water

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: great little place. right on the water, great views, its older but has charm. the dissapointment was one bed was a pullout and it was literally like sleeping on a metal frame. seriously shouldn't be listed as a bed. second night just slept on the couch without pulling out the bed. the king bed was great. friendly owners and guest, loved that the beach chairs and umbrella came with the stay. was asked to take all trash to the dumpster which was a ways from out unit and lid was too heavy and too tall. we didn't do much cooking only just snacked and had breakfast and kitchen was stocked for that.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival.1) The AC was not working (They put in a temp unit in after 12 days, then had AC repaired after 14 days)2) The shower was only Luke warm (repaired 2nd day)3) Refrigerator had water/ice on glass shelves (not repaired)4) Couch and bed must both be over 20 years old (VERY UNCOMFORMTABLE)5) Entry keypad took numerous tries to work (not repaired)Numerous other issues that were repaired by Maintenance man upon request. (Thank You)I have stayed at 3 other units at Capri and been very pleased. While this unit had the best view from the deck, it was not comfortable and too many issues.

August 2023 Destin Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here before and this time the bedroom had been decorated a bit more, very cute! All the condos we have stayed in at Capri are always very clean! We like the deck view from 108! These condos are usually very quiet, a nice family oriented environment, and not overly crowded! We feel safe and comfortable staying here and plan to always stay at Capri by the Gulf when we vacation to Destin!

Awesome Beach and location, condo was clean but very dated

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an awesome place to stay if being close to the beach is important. Very easy access to the beach. The condo was clean but very dated and not in very good condition. First the door was not very secure, the door jam was in poor condition and I felt like someone could probably kick it in very easily. The condo had beautiful beach views but one of the sliding glass doors to the balcony needs to be replaced, you can barely see through it. I’m the description it states there are ceiling fans but there weren’t any at all, I was very thankful that we drove and brought our own. The listing also stated that there is a washer/ dryer on the premises but what it doesn’t tell you is that the machines are $3.00 each a load and they are very small. The mattress on the bed was very soft and uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The staff checked in on us which was nice and gave me an opportunity to ask for chairs for the deck so that we could sit out there and enjoy the view, before that all they had out there was one low sitting chair and a picnic table. I would stay at Capri again strictly for the private beach and how easy it was to access it but I would stay in this particular unit again.

Perfect getaway

This is our 2nd year with harmony beach vacations at capri, 1st year with this room and we loved the room!!! The view is breathtaking! Perfect location and accommodating staff!

Great Location but needs Remodeling !

The location of property was good , right off the beach. The property management team was very helpful and attentive. However I would strongly suggest to owner that a vast remodeling is needed. The bed was lumpy and the sofa couch would creak every time anyone sat on the middle section. This should all get replaced. The section above the kitchen bar had a part where the paint was bubbling up as if condensation was present from AC perhaps . A thorough review and updates should be done.

Very disappointed room 108

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Much needed repair for this unit. Tiles cracked and grout missing from in front of sliding door. Window’s especially sliding door fogged in between panes so can’t see out. Ants and cockroaches inside unit to where we had to purchase own spray to kill them. Ants outside so bad couldn’t even sit with feet down on ground. Bathroom very, very outdated. Only 1 chair on deck, and a picnic table in much needed repair. We paid a lot extra for this unit but will never stay at this unit again

We have stayed at the Capri between 4-5 times over the last 10 years and found that most units are well kept. Unfortunately 108 is not as well kept, and although management addressed our concerns immediately, the unit needs a full renovation.

Relaxing Vacation

Reviewer Comments: Once again, as in the past many years that we have been going, Angie and staff are absolutely amazing But as far as unit 108 is concerned were we have stayed every year we were disappointed, nothing much has been done, furniture on deck was rotted, same uncomfortable mattress that hasn’t been changed in years as well as the living room furniture, patch ceiling from leaks painted a different color, same sliding door with broken vapor barrier with no lock or screen. In our minds the owners of unit 108 need to do a lot of updates to expect to get what they are charging!!! These concerns and problems do not reflect on management or the Capri.

Always WONDERFUL!!!!

Needs to be gutted

Reviewer Comments: The ocean view was beautiful, the deck rail was too high to sit on deck and see the beach. Patio furniture all rusted, so glad we brought our own reclining chairs.The rental was horrible, needs updating very bad. Sliding door needs to be replaced, couldn't hardly open and close door because it was so rusted, not to mention one panel of the door was white couldn’t see through it. Bathroom is so outdated and shows badly, bedroom carpet has wrinkles in it The king size mattress is so worn it is sunken in the middle same with the hide a bed mattress BEDS WERE HORRIBLE!!! Cabinet doors wouldn’t stay shut, refrigerator has a huge scratch across it like it was just picked up from the junk yard! And last there was a **** roach about an each long in the kitchen. For $2400 + I sure expected more than this! We love the Capri on the Gulf but if it isn’t maintained better than 108 my family will not be returning. I would never let my home in Kentucky look like 108.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No umbrella on deck, one was brought next day. Two dead bugs in unit first day. We know Fla has bugs so not a complaint! Our unit was a perfect location and I reserved for next summer for TWO WEEKS, Sept 7-21. Loved it, miss the Cloisters where I stayed for years but smaller place and easier beach access was much better for I am old now 😏😎! The beach service was the best I have ever experienced; owner and his employees were excellent and frankly exceptional. Very wonderful stay!

Bad: Found two very large cockroaches near couch. One dead, one alive. Bed was not up to par with location of condo. Very lumpy. Would not stay again in this particular location.
