Safe swimming for kids as the Sound is much calmer than the Gulf generally. Watching sunsets from the deck was an added bonus. Very nice home in a comfortable complex.Close to all the restaurants and shops but away from any heavy traffic.

We enjoyed coffee & sunshine on the front deck in the mornings! We also loved the hightop table on the deck that provided a view over the deck railing. The inside is beautifully decorated and clean! We will definitely rent this unit again! The unit is just as pictured. Paradise Beach Homes provides excellent customer service.

Love the location...disappointed in the unit

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 9th year staying at San de Luna and our third year staying in Unit 30. As always, we absolutely love the location! But this unit is lacking some upkeep. The sliding back door was broken (which we reported to Paradise Beach Homes), the air conditioner was very much struggling (we were out of our unit almost all day and it was typically reading 79 degrees upon returning in the evening), the fridge didn't get very cold, the kitchen garbage can was broken, and the dishwasher did not wash most dishes. In addition, the cleaning upon arrival was very much subpar. Sand still all over the floor (as well as a large sticky spot on the kitchen floor that I stepped in almost immediately) and mildew in the master shower. Considering checkin isn't until 5pm, we expect better. No grill or beach toys/canoes/paddleboards like many of the other units either. On a positive note, they did fix the couch cushions from last year, and this unit does have the best available view of all of the rentals. Our family has outgrown this unit anyway with it only having two beds; we will be returning to San de Luna but trying a new unit.

In one bedroom upstairs there is about 4' that has no blinds at all making sleep difficult in the morning. The blinds downstairs continually fell off and felt ineffective. This is a simple fix that should be addressed.

Staff found us a place that same day. It was fantastic, like new. We go to Pensacola Beach 2 to 3 times a year and we'll be calling Paradise Beach Homes for accommodation from now on. Great experience with great professionals.

We were disappointed that the vertical blinds (circa 1970) were missing several FEET of blinds in the living room and master. Nothing like getting up at sunrise and having zero privacy. Fix these and you've got a winner. Like to sleep late or stay up after dark with the lights on, keep looking.

Our only suggestion is for the company to complete some maintenance in #30. Downstairs was very nicely updated, with nice kitchen and LR, but upstairs had issues that should be addressed - dirty/mildew vents in both bathrooms, outlet not secured in wall in master br, vertical blind slats not attached and laying in window sill. We didn't report these issues bc we were hardly there, but our stay would have been perfect otherwise.

The only thing missing here are some Palm trees hanging out over the beach and some one to bring me an adult beverage. Ok, my wife was there.. but you get my meaning! San De Luna #30 was clean, inviting, and had a great view of the Sound! It was also a much calmer beach than the Gulf side. My wife and teenage girls spent hours wading along the shore!

Excellent location to the both beaches and amazing view off the back patio. The townhome was well stocked and very clean, only downside was the couch; the cushions never stay on. Everything else was great and we even got to check in an hour early. We plan on visiting this same location again next year!

San de Luna is the best group condos!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVE San de Luna! This was our 8th summer staying at SDL and 2nd in #30. These condos offer the best location for quick access to both the gulf and bay sides while being able to rent multiple condos to accommodate large groups. With #30, it has the amenities that we need, but we keep renting it for the great balcony view and breeze! The only changes I would make... a twin and set of bunk beds would work much better in the 2nd bedroom since it does not have a third floor or bed nook like some of the other units and I'd replace the couch...haha. Those cushions just don't stay on when sitting! But we truly do love these condos and are glad to be able to stay in #30!
