Stunning area ready to explore

We loved this apartment, very tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. That bed is the most comfortable bed ever! The kitchen was well equipped . The best part was the balcony! Such a good view!! Better than the photos in the listing. This is a true gem!! The only thing I would say is that the listing advertised a clothes washing machine and dryer which were not included. Not a problem if you’re here for a holiday. We were travelling and would have liked to wash our clothes. Just take that into consideration. Wifi was also very slow but you are not in the alps to use the wifi so also not really an issue

We spent a lovely week in Obergrainau. We found the apartment perfect to stay in and our hosts were so nice and helpful. A huge mountain wall forms a massive barrier to the south, but we discovered delightful cycle routes going north and enjoyed a splendid hike in the high hills on the north side of the valley. In addition, Garmisch seems a very pleasant town and is so easy to get around on a bike. What a wonderful place for a holiday in spring time. It was delightful!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with the shear amount of creature comforts this apartment came with. As we had flown with a restricted amount of luggage for our winter holiday it was worth it’s weight in gold to have amenities like coffee, spices etc and all the necessary cleaning products. The apartment came well equipped with fresh towels, blankets and was wonderfully furnished, just as the pictures indicate. We had a very relaxing stay and made the most of the beautiful surroundings and stunning scenery. Will look forward to visiting again in the future.

This is a very well priced apartment for the amount of room and facilities you get. The whole place was spotlessly clean and warm. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals. It is close to the bus stop to the glacier and other resorts. It is close to both ski rental and small food shop. Martina was welcoming and helpful.
