Holiday rentals near Abbey House Museum

We had been looking forward to this little break in Yorkshire especially as TheThreshing Barn looks so gorgeous. Unfortunately we had to cancel with about a week to go as our dog became very unwell and needed urgent treatment. Andrew and Kate were very sympathetic. We hope to be able to stay at The Threshing Barn next year. Fingers crossed!

Would definitely recommend this property. Very peaceful but handy for shops and public transport if required.

Superb place, Graham is a welcoming host and nothing was too much trouble.It’s immaculate with great attention to detail. Welcome basket and doggie treats a lovely touch.Great walks and pubs nearby.We will be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is so central, the sun shines into the upstairs living area and the beds are so comfortable. Jenny is a gracious host and the location is central to all we wanted to do. Would definitely recommend, thank you Jenny .

What a great find, the process of booking was easy description of the property was spot on.I could not have wished for a better stay, a real shame I could not have stayed for longer.It was very comfortable and the extra touches provided by the host made it even better. Some people have had multiple stays and I can fully understand why and I will probably do the same

Came to Harrogate for a few days and this place was perfect. Has everything you need. It’s clean and the host was very very helpful with great communication. Location is easy to get into Harrogate and even in the snow storm I could walk into the centre as the buses were suspended. There’s a shop at the end of the road and the neighbourhood is very quiet. Can highly recommended.

This was our second visit to Fig Tree Barn and it met all our expectations. Suzanne and Frank were extremely welcoming and helpful. It is in a great location for visiting York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and all the surrounding countryside. The property is beautifully fitted out, has a balcony/terrace which catches the summer sun for much of the day. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing time and would highly recommend it.
