About this property

Relax in peaceful, private, secluded woods and mountains

Home is cedar chalet on both outside and inside wood paneling; 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bath and a fantastic deck with eating area. Clean and comfortably furnished with all the necessities; WIFI and basic cable provided in home (cell phone reception is great as well). On 7 wooded acres with a nice yard and a newly installed blue-stone patio and fire-pit. Surrounding our home on three sides is woods (much of it forever wild woods) and to the back of the house is a large open field and beyond it is the only home visible from ours about 500 or more yards away.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
In cold fall winter/fall season, turn down all room thermostats to 50 degrees; main room thermostat is in celcius so 50 degrees would 10 degrees C in the main LR area.
Remove trash from kitchen containers and place in shed (garbage cans with lids)
Also in cold winter season, open electrical circuit box to side of washing machine; flip home water pump switch to off position.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
In winter/cold: 1. Leave heater thermostats at 50 degrees to avoid pipes from freezing 2. Turn off electric switch breaker box 38-40 of water pump

We are a down to earth, nice and simple couple who absolutely love the beauty and genuineness of the Catskills.
Nature, art, live music, overall wellness, exercise, healthy and hearty cooking, social community causes are a few of our interests.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the home the first time we walked up the snowy driveway one late spring. It held so many of the characteristics that we wanted in a home (very private towards the end of dead end road, surrounded by woods, a rustic cozy cedar wood framed house, with simple architecture; all in a beautiful nice small town, rural and natural unspoiled part of the Catskills.

What makes this property unique

The outside deck and covered eating area are wonderful to view and take nature - the sounds, smells and sights of the woods, birds and mountains. In the house you can enjoy the wood stove to be warm and cozy in the winter; also the kitchen is equipped with all the kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and basic food staples you would need to cook nice home cooked meals.
