Berushka Cottage: Hike, Swim, Amazing Mountain Views, WFH

Cozy 2 bedroom cabin in the woods with beautiful mountain views! Less than 2.5 hours from NYC and only 10 min to Belleayre skiing (and lake swimming in the summer) and Spillian venue. We love this wooded property, which is private but not desolate. At the top of a hill up a distance from a quiet road, we have great views of the mountains. We love seeing wildlife on the property including wild turkeys, deer, bunnies, chipmunks, hawks, and plenty of birds. A relaxing getaway from it all! Open plan kitchen / dining area that leads into the living room with a warm wood stove. Plenty of sunlight from several windows and the sliding glass doors leading onto the outdoor deck. Two bedrooms in the back of the house along with a full bath. Walkout basement (unfinished) has a second full bath.

The cabin is close to the charming towns of Margaretville, Andes, Phoenicia, and Woodstock with great restaurants, local shops, vintage & thrift stores, and galleries. We are optimally located for skiing at Belleayre (less than 10 minute drive door to door) as well as the famous Hunter and Windham resorts.

House is at the top of a hill at the end of a longish gravel driveway. My front-wheel drive sedan has no problem getting up the hill even after light snowfall, and the driveway is plowed when there is major snow. We are currently renovating the cabin and so some rooms are more updated than others. Additionally, we have security cameras outside the house monitoring the driveway and entrances. There are NO cameras inside the house.
