1 bed cottage near beaches , tourist attractions, Port Royal Golf course, bus routes and restaurants. Fully air conditioned for comfort with internet tv in both rooms as well as free wifi . The cottage has a shower as well as a separate tub to soak in bliss. The kitchen is stocked with basics but on arrival you will be taken to the grocery store for a quick shop of preferred items .Excellent location for overflow guests coming to a wedding or a golfing holiday. The Port Royal Golf course is only 7 minutes away if you wish to play on a PGA level course. Reliable taxi service is easily arranged for convenience of guests

Across the street from the cottage is a private dock where you can sit out and have relaxing drinks or go for a swim or kayak. The sunsets are memorable ! You set the pace !!

In the evenings if you want to just relax and be serenaded by the sounds of crickets and whistling tree frogs while enjoying a glass of wine , sit out on the patio and enjoy the evening concert.

There is a bus stop within 100 yards of the house to get you where you want to go and restaurants within walking distance as well as a walking railway trail to see more of the natural beauty of the island. Should you not use public transport but prefer to rent an electric vehicle, there is a charge point at the cottage for your car

Great location. Thomas was full of great advice for what to do and eat. Arranged the cab pick up and drop off which took the stress out of departure and arrival. Had a very convenient plug in for the electric car rental. Right next to the rail trail and Gibbs lighthouse for fun from the rental walks. Sunset views from the dock across the street. Great place for a couple to save on a hotel and get so much more space.

It was great to be Back in Bermuda! I Almost don't want to share how great this property is. But, since I am not Currently able to book All the days, I'll unselfishly do this review. I arrived when Humberto was fizzling and Imelda was warming up. This was the first time that I have flown into Bermuda at night. I was met at the airport by the driver that had been arranged by my host. My host was Very helpful preparing me to ride out the storm (which thankfully wasn't as bad as it could have been). The house is located in a lovely area just a short walk from the road. It is like being at home with neighbors nearby. It is furnished comfortably with everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself. It is easy to get to the bus stop to get to Dockyard;Hamilton;St. George and most places in between. I stayed here 2 years ago and am already planning to return next year.

We very much enjoyed our vacation at Coral Point Cottage. The host, Thomas, had a taxi driver pick us up at the airport and take us to St. George to get our rental vehicle. Thomas was at the property when we arrived. He gave us many restaurant recommendations and went over the unique features of the cottage. The water access is wonderful and provides amazing sunsets.

Thomas greeted us upon arrival and was totally a personable host! Anything we asked, or needed he was on it. Great location for getting around. We had a lot of conversations and would stay here again.

Our stay at Avocado Lane was Perfect! Thomas was an extremely knowledgeable host and provided many recommendations for restaurants and advice for our travels around the island. Great little property

We had a lovely stay at Coral Point. Thomas is so warm and welcoming. He was there to meet us upon arrival and told us all about the island and getting around. The cottage is completely updated with a gorgeous bedroom and bathroom and strong AC, which we definitely needed! We would recommend this cottage to anyone traveling to Bermuda.

My husband and I stayed at Thomas’s home for 3 nights. We loved it! It was the perfect size and included all of the comforts of home. Thomas spent quite a bit of time giving us recommendations for restaurants and places to see, and gifted us with a delicious rum cake. We really enjoyed our talk with him. He arranged our taxi from the airport and bus tickets for our stay. We found using the bus easy and convenient. We also kayaked and swam from the dock across the street. It’s a great place. We would enjoy staying here again.

Perfect stay for us

The cottage was perfect for us and exactly what we were looking for. We had a private dock where we could watch the bay and enjoy evenings. It is conveniently located so that we were close to friends and about 20 min to Hamilton. The cottage itself was very comfortable. Comes with a Twizzy charger. Tom was very communicative. We would definitely stay again

What a gem

Thomas was an amazing host! He met us at the property, arranged airport transport cab, secured bus pass and even delighted us with a homemade casserole! It was a welcome touch! The cottage was stocked with towels, toiletries and even coffee. Delightful! We will be back!

How Many Ways to describe Awesome

Thomas is an Awesome Host! He reached out immediately to anticipate ways to make my stay enjoyable. He is thouhgtful, pleasant, kind, congenial and a treasure trove of knowledge. While browsing the VRBO site, I settled on two properties that presented well in photos. The photos don't do this property justice! I felt like I was staying in my own Family home. I had access to So much. As a single traveler, I felt quite safe. Transportation was convenient and easy. I am looking forward to my next stay.

Exceeded All Expectations!

Thomas and his lovely cottage are truly Bermuda gems! Thomas is a wonderful host, with arranging transportation (from/to airport; picking up bus passes for us), sharing information about island activities and places to see, both on and off the beaten path and even sharing bananas and papaya from his backyard. His food recommendations were spot-on - loved the fish sandwiches at Woody's near Dockyard and Mamma Angies in St. George. We hiked the rail trail and every nature reserve - amazing vistas of blue waters and white/pink sand beaches. We enjoyed exploring in the kayaks and relaxing at the dock. This location is perfect - easy access to the bus to go to the Dockyard or Hamilton and St. George to the east. So nice that the bus pass includes the ferry too. Our thanks to Thomas for making our first visit to Bermuda such a memorable one!

A Southampton Jewel!

Thomas is a gracious and attentive host who made things easy right from the start by arranging the airport transfers, obtaining bus passes, and taking us to the supermarket for an initial supply run. He also filled us in on interesting sights and activities, Bermudian customs (kites at Horseshoe Bay on Good Friday!) and made great dining recommendations. The cottage is perfect for a small family (two adults and a child): comfortable, well-equipped, spacious, and full of light (and a breeze, if desired). It is surrounded by trees, bushes, and colorful plants, and Gibbs Hill Lighthouse is visible through the foliage. A private dock – just over the road and down some steps – offers cozy spots to gaze at the myriad moored boats, nearby islands, and dense schools of anchovy. The nearby bus stops make outings convenient, as there is regular service to both Hamilton and the Royal Naval Dockyard. It was a wonderful vacation – if far too short – and we will be back!

Amazing Cottage and Host in Bermuda

We went to Bermuda to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We didn't want to stay in an impersonal resort, so we looked for something different. What we found was incredible. This cottage is everything that we could have wanted; cozy, comfortable, well-located, and with a wonderful sitting area on the water looking out over a marina. More important than the cottage itself is the incredible service provided by the host, Thomas. Thomas was in regular communication before we arrived, arranged our taxi from the airport and for other purposes, and made a run to the grocery store for some food for our first evening. He was always available, but never in the way. We just cannot say enough good things about Thomas as a host. Some additional context. Our anniversary night dinner included our two sons, who flew in from the US just for dinner, surprising my wife (as planned). Thomas also helped with those logistics by making sure they were picked up at the airport on arrival, suggesting a place for them to stay, and arranging that they would get to the restaurant before my wife and me, so they would already be seated. It worked perfectly, and Thomas was a big part of the reason. What an amazing surprise for my wife and evening it was for all of us! The cottage is exactly as pictured, well stocked with all we could need, clean and ready for us on arrival. There is a private patio for early morning coffee and son, and great bathroom with an excellent shower and soaking tub, a full kitchen, dining area, and living room. It sits off a main road, but we never heard the traffic. The cottage is located outside of any town. This makes it very peaceful, although you need to be comfortable with the bus system (stop is right nearby), or willing to spend money on taxis (which are pretty expensive), or have your own transportation (scooter or electric vehicle.) We rented a Bermi electric car from Localmotion on Happy Valley Rd. It was amazing. While a bit pricey, the car allowed us complete freedom to drive throughout the country without the fear we would have had on scooters. We did scooters years ago, but the traffic these days makes them much less of an option for us. And as an added bonus, the cottage has an electric car charge point that works with both Bermi's and Twizzy's (and maybe others). This is the best way to see the off-the-beaten-path beauty of Bermuda. If we could, we'd give this 10 stars. The best experience we've ever had with a rental!

Wonderful 5 days

All the accolades about Thomas are true! The best host and full of great recommendations once you clue him in to your passions. We dined at 3 of his suggested spots, mostly at the golf clubs, all awesome. We were impressed with the quality of the sushi in BDA, BTW! Very clean and well stocked cottage, comfortable and pretty garden and avocado and banana tree viewing from the living/dining area. The best was the dock/harbor area across the road, where we ate breakfast or had coffee and a few happy hours. Kayaking was an added pleasure on less windy days. Only minor negative was the rooster at 3am, and at sunrise. We think the lighthouse confuses him (we are non AC people so that’s the easy fix to run the BR split!!) A few neighbor dogs but they weren’t too bad. Great stay, hope to be back with Thomas!!!

Restful Retreat to watch Sunset

We wanted a reasonably priced cottage with outdoor space. Coral Point is not on the water but you can enjoy the private dock and kayaks just across the street on Jews Bay. It's a beautiful place to watch the sunset.

Great First Trip to Bermuda

A gem on gem of an island

We stayed in this lovely cottage for our 40th anniversary in May 2022, and we knew someday we'd come back. We jut completed our second stay at Coralpoint and we're so glad we did. Thomas is incredibly easy to work with, and does everything he can to ensure an excellent holiday. The cottage is well laid out, with a full kitchen that stocked with essentials, a comfy bedroom, and a nice living room. Thomas met us when we arrived (after arranging a taxi for us from the airport to pick up our cute little electric car - a Bermi) and made sure we got settled in. He provided some updates on restaurants we might be interested in (some changes since 2022) and and made sure we were oriented. Since we'd been here before that didn't take all that long. The key for us was having the car, which gave us complete freedom to come and go without worrying about taxis or busses. It let us be out "in the country" rather than at one of the big resort hotels that cost twice as much. There is a grocery store nearby, along with an excellent ice cream place (Scoops) where we started and ended our trip. Overall, we can't say enough good about Coralpoint Cottage. It's one of the best VRBo experiences we have had anywhere in the world. Highly recommended!
