This is a sweet little apartment, very close to the Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace in a quiet street. The apartment had everything you needed for a short stay. I was amazed by how they were able to fit everything in. We also enjoyed the art in the room.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to everything we wanted to go to. The stay was a 5. We just had some issues with check-in but overall it was a good stay in Florence.

The best part of our stay in Bardi Suites was the location. Very walkable to all the sights, restaurants and stations. We appreciated that our suite had a washer for our laundry and a good supply of towels and toiletries. The not so good was the ‘dark’ of our suite. No natural light. We felt like we were staying in a medieval house….needing a good professional clean.

Very dank, dehumidifier would fill 2x in a 24 hour time. Bed was terrible, sagged in the middle. Very quiet and great location. Nobody told us to keep the windows closed so the first night we had mosquitoes that kept us up. We requested extra pillows and they came very fast.

The location was excellent but there are a few flaws that made this just an ok stay. The host opened the windows when we were checking in and little did we know, let in so many mosquitos that they kept us awake all night and my daughter who is sensitive was scratching for days. Also, the whole place is very dark and the bathroom mirror is hard to put on makeup because it is warped. The potential is great, but it just misses the mark unfortunately.

Lovely place in Florence

We loved this place and it made our stay in Florence very special. We particularly wanted to commend Manu, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The place is located very close to the Uffizi and the Pontevecchia and a wonderful place to walk and explore the city. The check in process was a little challenging because we were using different platforms to communicate (VRBO internal messages v. Whats App) but we sorted it out! beautiful interior and art ...highly recommended

Location is amazing

This property was quite lovely. The interior is spacious and I liked the way it was laid out. It was very clean and the host met us at the apartment and was very helpful during the check-in process I felt. The location was amazing just steps from our door was the Ponte Vecchio, a beautiful coffee shop and patisserie gelato shop a restaurant steps away from shopping a grocery and across the river only a five minute walk is the uffizi gallery. No need to take a taxi or bus in this city as most sites are within walking distance! Loved our stay here

When we arrived at the door, we were told the apartment had not been cleaned. It was a 3 hour delay from their 15:00/3:00 check-in time for us to get into the apartment. When we tried to unpack our suitcases, neither the small chest nor the closet were unlocked and there was no key in the apartment (antique furniture uses keys to unlock the drawers). The bed only had a top sheet and no coverlet or additional bedding in the apartment. The office staff said they would try to get a serviceman but after waiting 2 hours with no follow-up from staff nor a serviceman, we vacated the apartment. We contacted VRBO’s Customer Care and they were absolutely of no help. The host refused to refund us even though we were only sitting on their couch for 2 hours. Therefore, we paid double for our stay in Florence. If you have ANY other choice for accommodations, please take it!!
