Lovely property

Comfortable home to base ourselves for a week long stay in the lake district. Reasonably clean. Close to the town centre of Ambleside. It was advertised as having a garden which is why we booked as we brought our dog with us but there is no garden. There is an area out front which has tarmac and patio furniture but this is open to the car park. You also need to buy all essentials like toilet roll, kitchen roll and condiments. There is a complimentary box with cleaning cloth, sponge, black bag which oddly included tablets for a dishwasher the property doesn't have. Trying to contact sykes is impossible and when you eventually speak to a person they were not bothered that they advertised a garden and could not help me gain a refund or to be accommodated elsewhere so could not recommend sykes. Vrbo tried to contact them on my behalf and they could not get a response either.
