It had all we needed for a comfortable stay with our dog. Very conveniently situated - close enough to walk to everything yet away from the busy-ness and noise.

This was a lovely cottage, with parking, and only 10 minutes walk to the beautiful town of Ambleside. Skylark had everything you would need, a little welcome pack and is clean and tidy on arrival. Beds were comfy, bathroom is fab, kitchen was nice and bright and sofa etc was great to lounge onRe parking, could do with the hedges being cut back as it’s very tight to parkLock box entry….which is on the right of the garage. We couldn’t find it at first as arrived late and in the dark…..so just be awareAmbleside has numerous eateries so we ventured out each night Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice ‘home’ in a great location

Great location in a quiet spot away from the bustle off the main street. House was very comfortable with good bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen facilities were very good, but could do with a salad bowl.

Lake District break

The property was perfect for us five minutes walk to the high street and some great walks for our dog loads of shops pubs places to eat would recommend Ambleside we will be returning sometime in the new year.

A beautiful cottage close to everything in Ambleside and lovely drives to Windemere and surroundings.Comfortable beds and all the amenities in kitchen. Great shower and tub. Very comfortable living room with lots of TV choices.

Perfectly located, cosy home with everything needed. Great shower and lovely bathroom products. Super easy check in, comfy cosy beds, plenty of storage and space. Quiet street, but very short walk to Ambleside centre and perfect location for driving around the lakes wherever you choose to go (off street parking). Had a fantastic first trip to the lakes, only wish we stayed longer
