Absolutely ideal family vacation base in the heart of Grand Marais. Incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable 2 bedroom with amazing views of both Lake Superior and downtown Grand Marais. This is a very impressive space for all guests but really designed well for families. Beautiful vaulted ceilings with fantastic wood paneling, slate tile floors, stainless appliances, great natural light, and incredible views. Book with confidence knowing you have found one of the nicest rentals in Grand Marais.

Grand Marais, is a beautiful lakeside town with amazing views of Lake Superior, great local shops, and relaxing small-town charm. Artists Point is a must-visit, and the nearby hiking trails are excellent. Bring layers because the weather changes quickly near the lake. Perfect spot for a peaceful weekend getaway.

Ben was a great host! He responded quickly to our qour questions/needs. This location is perfect to explore Grand Marais and to enjoy hiking in nearby locations! Comfortable beds, clean and beautiful view of lake! We will be back!

The host was helpful and always quick to respond to any questions I had. We were a bit surprised by the number of steps we had to navigate up to the living space. There is no AC here, and normally there would be no need for it, but it was unusually warm weather. Additionally, Grand Marais is currently experiencing an infestation of spruce budworm moths. Because the screens did not fit snuggly in the windows we had to choose between a cool breeze or bugs. A bit of a perfect storm, with unusual weather and an unusual infestation of moths. I’m sure it would have been more comfortable at any other time. The location is ideal, walking distance from everything.

Perfect location

The house was very clean and has plenty of space. It is a short walk to downtown. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. The owner was very prompt in responding to my questions. Great house!

Great in Town Location

Came up for 4 nights with my family to hike and enjoy the town. Place was great for us and loft was really helpful for having an extra bed. No AC needed with how close to the lake it was, but one window was missing a screen, so lots of mosquitoes got in before we noticed. We use this place again.
