Excellent house
We had an excellent stay at your house "sa cova". Both the house, pool and garden was nice and beautiful, the garden almost like a park. There were about ten minutes walk both to the nearest old town, and to the nearest beach.

Beautiful villa with lovely quiet surrounding and gardens, lovely pool, just in need of a few bits missing in the kitchen if you want to be picky but overall lovely villa with short walk into old town Alcudia and would stay again.

Nice you loved the house and you had a pleasant stay. Hope you can come back again!
Lovely villa and pool. Extensive grounds. Plenty of room for 5 adults and child. Grandson loved the pool! Slightly remote but approx 10/15 minute walk into town. Beautiful Old Town with plenty of cafes/restaurants. We didn't hire car but this was not a problem. Easy access to taxis. Good communication with Celia.
We had a great time!

Excellent House for a perfect holiday
We have just returned from a lovely week in Sa Cova. We were two families with 4 children + a baby.
The house is perfect with a very big garden and a nice swimming pool excellent for the kids.
The house is in a very good condition, very well equipped and with a nice barbeque area.
The location is perfect, in between Pollensa and Alcudia bays. Walking distance from Alcudia old town and very close to beaches and supermarkets.
We would definitely recommend it.
Thank you Celia for your kind welcome and your lovely house.

Wonderful Vacation
Our family stayed for 2 weeks at Villa Sa Cova, in August 2014. This was our third time returning to this fantastic Villa. We were six adults & three children, the villa is very comfortable, and clean. The pool is very safe for the children, as it is a short distance from the villa. BBQ area is top class.Gardens are large & well taken care of.
Location is very tranquil, but still very convenient to Alcudia (walk), and short drive to the best beaches, restaurants etc.
The owners family are very helpful. I have no hesitation to highly recommend this villa for a wonderful vacation.

Fantastic villa in large grounds in a great location
The villa was excellent - we had a brilliant time. The grounds were large and while it was only a few minutes walk from the town, it was very private. It was perfect for our group (two families of four). It was a great base for exploring the area.
Celia answered any questions we had extremely quickly while we were there and in the run up to our visit.
Alcudia old town was beautiful but felt very geared towards tourists – not in a tacky way at all, but there wasn’t much sign of Spanish life. Most of the restaurants were overpriced and the food was pretty average. We did find a couple of real gems, however - Sa Cullera was outstanding and Can Costa was really good too for traditional Mallorcan meals.

Dear Andrea, happy you had a lovely time and you enjoyed Sa Cova! Warms regards, Celia
Very nice finca with a wonderful view, quiet but central
This is a very awesome place to stay. The pool was safe for children, very clean. Celia was always available for us. If we had some urgent matters or questions Tage was available and she send us the gardener or they cleaned the pool immediately. It has an awesome and very well prepared garden. For our little toddlers they offered chairs and beds for free. The air condition was new/clean and refreshing in hot summer nights. It is very close to beautiful Alcudia city, and in a 5-7 minute drive,
You will see the ocean from a wonderful beach . We had a really great time. Thanks

Villa Sa Cova
Stayed at Villa Sa Cova 14th to 24th June 2018. Really enjoyed the house and surrounding area. The house was spacious for our party of 8. Grounds were bigger than shown on photos, so lots of space for a 1 year old to run around. Pool area was brilliant and welcoming as it was extremely hot while we were there.
We did need to contact Inma to Housekeeper while we were there but she doesn't speak English so had to contact Celia and our messages were answered fairly quickly.
Alcudia old town is a short 5 minute stroll away and we went to the port a couple of times which was 5 euro 80 in a taxi, cheaper than the bus if there are 4 of you.
All in all, a good holiday.

Lovely villa
We had a lovely week's holiday at this villa and were very impressed with it. The pictures don't do justice to the size of the grounds and there are lots of sun loungers available; along with the barbeque area this makes for great outside facilities.
The pool was too cold for us to swim in this early in the season but it was nice to sit on the loungers by the pool. The villa is well equipped. As it was cold of an evening we did spend our evenings in doors and we felt the lounge area didn't really work well for the 5 of us as there is only the one large leather sofa but it has limited back support so we ended up using chairs from the dining room.
The villa is in a good location - just a short walk from Alcudia town which has lots of great restaurants.

Beautiful Villa in a Peaceful Location
The villa is absolutely beautiful in huge gardens with lots of outdoor areas for sitting or sunbathing. Inside is comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. We were presented with a welcome pack of some food and drinks to get us started which was a lovely gesture. We are a family of 7 with 2 children who loved playing in the pool (though the water was a bit cold) and in the gardens. We stayed for 10 nights and the house was cleaned and all sheets and towels were changed half way through out stay which was really nice. The old town is only less than 10 minutes stroll and the north coast is again 10 minutes and although doesn't really have beaches it's good for snorkling and the kids loved fishing in the rock pools and off the little jetties. The main Alcudia beach to the South is about 30-40 minutes walk but is well worth it as is really beautiful and family friendly. Thank you Celia for your hospitality - we will recommend Sa Cova to our family and friends.

Perfect villa in a great location
We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children ages 1 and 2.. The villa was stunning, very clean, very secure with large grounds and very well maintained. The location was also great, it was about a 7 minute walk into Alcuida Old Town where there were many quaint shops and resteraunts. A little further (maybe 10 minute car journey) was Alcudia which was more lively with a stunning beach. We also went into Puerto Pollensa which was also stunning and again only about a 10 minute car journey.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owner Celia and the housekeeper Inma, I exchanged many emails with Celia prior to arriving and always had quick responses.
A big bonus for us was that we were able to get into the villa as soon as we got there which was about 10am and on the day we left we weren't rushed and could stay until our transfer picked us up at 1pm, this meant we didn't have to hang around with 2 young children.
All in all we had a fantastic time, so much so that we are considering booking again for September. I would certainly recommend this villa.

Beautiful property, great town/countryside location
We loved staying at Sa Cova. Celia was an excellent host and answered all our questions and messages promptly. The outdoor space was far bigger than it seemed in the pictures, and the house was just right for our 2 families of 4. Air con worked well. Pool was clean. Lovely location, 5 minute walk into town and a 8 minute drive to either side of the peninsula. Lots of lovely local beaches to the north to explore. A good base for cycling, running and sea swimming and the usual tourist stuff.
As mentioned in a couple of the previous reviews there were lots of mosquitoes and a few things that could do with a refresh (the sofa, a shower head, a couple of lights) and a few additional kitchen things that would be useful - scissors, oven trays, basics like hand soap, salt, pepper, but on the whole it had pretty much everything we needed. For a two week stay it was expected that the villa would be cleaned and towels changed however the cleaner had a problem and didn’t come until we let Celia know, and she sorted this very quickly.
All in all it’s a great villa. I’d happily stay again 🙂

Stunning property in a great location
Had a wonderful 1 week stay at Sa Cova.
It is located on the outskirts of Alcudia and about a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. The villa itself is situated in a stunning setting with wonderful well maintained gardens and a fabulous pool overlooking the mountains. The BBQ area and the patio area were particularly enjoyable to sit at.
The property was well equipped and had everything that we needed for a very comfortable stay.
One of the reasons for booking this villa is that we had one guest in the party with limited mobility. A lot of the villas seem to have the bedrooms upstairs only or showers in a bath which you need to climb in to. This villa has two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs (as well as another 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs). Of the bathrooms downstairs, one of these was a was a shower cubicle which was perfect.
We had a couple of teething issues at the start but these were rectified immediately by the owner Celia and for that reason it would be unfair to mark down the stay.
All in all, I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and would happily stay here again.

This Villa is utterly beautiful
We have just come back today from Sa Cova and the Villa is breathtaking. The walk/drive in is something special. Celia is very responsive and so lovely and is happy to help with anything as she did with us. We did all get bitten to death my Mosquitos so take the strongest repellent you can find and keep the front door closed when in the living room. We had a lot of ants nests at the Villa outside so just take care not to leave any food out that may encourage them even more. You get quite a few wasps landing in the pool so when removing them try not to put them on the side as this attracted lots of them but not a big problem. Everyone is so polite and welcoming in Alcudia which is important to me for a holiday. A Vital tip for finding the Villa is that the road you go down looks like a dead end but it isnt. Go down Barcares and when you see a big green bin on the right and a black gate go down and theres a lane down to the Villa. Very hidden. The air con is amazing! Thanks again Celia I can honestly same the photos do not do this place justice. Do not hesitate to book 😁

Lovely Villa - perfect setting.
OK, this review is based on 2 families staying - 4 adults and 4 teenage kids - so not all of the comments will be applicable if there are less people staying.
The negatives:
The pool was freezing and isn't heated. Normally we wouldn't be out of the pool but, in this visit, we only used it once......as a dare!
There isn't enough seating for 8 people inside the villa.
There isn't enough hot water for 8 people.
There were only 2 wine glasses and 2 beer glasses!
There weren't enough pillows - we all sleep with 2 and only 1 was provided - there were a few spares but not enough for 8 of us.
It's very difficult to keep the ants out of the villa (but this isn't really a reflection of the villa as this is true of most country villas)
It would have been good to have a folder to tell us the best places to visit/eat etc and useful information such as where the medical centre is, useful contact numbers - and the address of the villa. Owners never want to give you and address but calling an ambulance and saying, ' my husband is having a heart attack please send an ambulance to villa number 1070513' doesn't really work.
It isn't 500 metres from the beach. It is 500 metres from the sea - but it is a rocky inlet rather than a beach.
The Positives:
Celia is very helpful and very quick to respond to emails.
The housekeeper Maria is also very helpful
The villa is in a beautiful peaceful location and it is an easy 4-5 minute walk to the town for restaurants, shops, markets etc.
The garden is lovely and useful when there are lots of you.
The barbecue area is very good for evenings.
The villa was very clean
The beds were very comfortable
It is only a short drive to a lovely sandy beach
Alcudia Old Town is a beautiful place to explore and had some lovely narrow alley ways with interesting shops and local crafts etc.
There are some great restaurants in the main square in Alcudia.
The villa is only about 40 minutes away from the airport.
The villa is very relaxing.
So, there you have it - I have tried to be as honest and objective as I can. I would definitely recommend this villa we enjoyed it very much.
Spacious house with nice pool and big garden and terraces.
Walking distance to Alcudia old town, 10 minutes to Alcudia Beach and Port of Pollença.
Slow internet and missing some kitchen items.
Overall a great place for families.
Villa was in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Alcudia (easy walking distance). The outside of the area of the villa including the pool was excellent. The availability of air-con was fantastic during our stay. The villa was very spacious. The only reason for not 5 stars is the lack of some basics in the kitchen. Overall we had a lovely time at the villa during our stay.
